Chaweng Best Hotel and Hostel Samui

We booked a private room through Booking. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were told that the air conditioning needed to be repaired and we were given the entire hostel room just for the two of us.We were then able to move into our actual room the following day. What was strange here was that another guest was probably still living in the room, although the air conditioning was defective, which we couldn't figure out. But the owner offered the discount on her own initiative. We thought that was very good.About the hostel room: There are 6 bunk beds in one room. It was very pleasant for two, as there is not only air conditioning installed, but also a fan that really distributes the air to all the beds. We slept very well in the beds. There are also lockers for hostel guests.Regarding the private rooms: the rooms are sporadically furnished but you really have everything you need. Our room didn't have a window, which meant we could sleep wonderfully because there was no light to disturb us.You can't choose whether the room should be cleaned or not, you have to explicitly say if you don't want it.The hotel is in a quiet location, you can get to the beach and 7-Eleven within 5 minutes.It is also possible to have your laundry washed at the hotel for 50 baht/kilo and rent a motorbike (300 baht/day).The owner and her mom always have a smile for their guests. It felt like they were there all day and were always helpful, they really made our visit very pleasant. There is coffee, tea and water, as well as bananas for free.Street shoes are not allowed to be worn in the hotel, which we really liked.In front of the hotel you can sit quietly in the fresh air and/or smoke a cigarette.We'd love to come back!

Great value for money for this hotel. The hosts are extremely kind and always ready to serve you. The private rooms are really very clean, as are the common areas for the dormitories. There are always 2 bottles of water per day and tea and coffee at reception. You can even rent a scooter at a very good price from reception. The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the busiest street and 5 minutes from the beach. Thank you very much for this stay, everything was perfect.

It is the third time I have come to this property and as always the rooms are very clean and the managers are friendly and welcoming, I recommend it

A very good value hostel for what is generally a more expensive area compared to the rest of Thailand. Easy walking distance to the beach and main nightlife area of Chaweng. There’s a friendly atmosphere, free coffee, drinking water and bananas. The staff (Nee) remembers guests names and is happy to go above and beyond to help with any request. Dorm beds are private with a curtain. Thank you :)
