Perfect new hostel in the center of Haad Rin. Was able to spontaneously get a bed for Full Moon here and had a great time. The owner and his mother are such friendly people and great hosts!Thank you very much:)

Had the most amazing experience here at Mbar! We planned to stay for just 2 nights but the owner and the workers made our stay so accomodating that we stayed an extra day just because of how good the atmosphere was here. We had home cooked meals with his family and the bartender, played pool with them and their drinks are amazing! The location is close to beautiful beaches and parties as well. If you are looking to stay in Koh Phangan there is no where else you should look to stay :) Thank you Fon and Benn, you made our stay so good !

Genuinely the best hostel I have stayed in. Service is great. Owner (Fon) and bartender (Benn) are so kind and accommodating. Cocktails are so delicious. Rooms have aircon and are massive so extra space for luggage. Best experience!

Hallo :)This Hostel is just half a year old but is rapidly growing and has very high standards. Also the staff is very friendly, helpful in every situation and takes you in like a real friend! The hostel has a pool table, football table, Ps4 to play with friends and against the staff for free Beer ;) Also they have a gym nextdoor were you can also take Muai Thai classes or train with weights by yourself. For the FullMoonParty it has a perfect Location just outside of the ticket-zone and creates with their own party a cool before- and afterparty.All in all I would always come back to this place and enjoy every moment of my stay!Danke Fon & Familie für die Gastfreundschaft und alles was ihr für uns getan habt!Fabian & Philip

Probably the best Hostel & Bar in Thailand, great location, walking distance to the Full moon party and beautiful beaches, the rooms are spacious, the bar/common area has everything you need to chill, party or meet people. Pool table and playstation are available as well for free. Probably the biggest advantage is the staff though, the owner and his crew are so nice, they'll help you with everything you need, from advice for the best places to everyday problems or even bigger problems you could encounter while traveling Thailand ;)

Property is new and it is brilliant, great social area and lovely staff. Owner went above and beyond to look after us during our stay, the best hospitality I've experienced in south east Asia. Has great knowledge and recommendations about the local area. Will definitely be visiting again!!

The stay at MBAR was one of the best stays I’ve had in Thailand. Great music every night, staff were incredibly accomodating, homely vibe in the dorm rooms. I highly recommend MBAR!

Easily the best hostel I’ve stayed at in SEA. Absolutely lovely staff - super accomodating and kind, and a fantastic bar/social area with a super cosy vibe. Definitely recommend for the full moon party too as it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach!

Really loved it here!Staff is amazing and the place is very spacious and clean.You can play pool or table soccer there or simply just hang out in the common area.Would definitely go there again!

My stay at Hostel MBAR was an overall positive experience. It's perfectly located for exploring Koh Pha-ngan, close enough to the beaches and nightlife but also a peaceful retreat. The view is fantastic and the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.The staff go above and beyond the usual to ensure everyone is comfortable and provide great tips for the island. The cleanliness is top and the facilities, such as the common room, invite you to linger and exchange ideas with other travelers.Hostel MBAR is more than just a place to sleep; it offers a community and an experience that made my stay on Koh Pha-ngan unforgettable. If you are looking for a cozy, clean and friendly place, this is the place for you!
