Right by the sea 😀 wonderful hostel where you feel at home!!Best sunsets on the island 😍It's the best bed I had on my trip (almost 4 months)It's very clean here and people are constantly cleaning!Sam the owner lovingly takes care of everything and everyone.You can rent scooters and bicycles, and excursions are offered! There is free water 😊It's a wonderful place here.I came here a second time on my trip and will come more often!!I can recommend it to everybody.

This is the place to stay in Koh Samui! Lovely hostel and most importantly exceptional hosts (Sam and his family). Its more in a quiet area and with a stunning beach! A must stay while here, good vibes, good restaurant and motorbike rental right in front... there's also reaaaally good desserts nearby at the papa's croissant , a must!

7 months of traveling Australia and Asia and this was so far the best hostel we ever stayed in, even as a couple!It’s so comfy and social but not partying. Such a lovely community!But especially Sam and his wife make it such a memorable stay and experience, you really feel like family there.Also lovely restaurants around and cheap scooter rental (250b a day ) just next to the hostel, the beach also just 2 meters from the hostel 😍

I really enjoyed my stay at Aforetime House Hostel @ Samui.The owner, Mr. Sam is so kind and friendly and made everyone feel so comfortable and at home here.The staff are also really nice. The location is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation, just a few steps from the best sunset watching beach. The house itself is really cute. The rooms are well designed and functional, and the mattreses are so comfy. There are many little details that made this place so special.At first I booked for only 5 nights, but after a couple of days I knew I wanted to stay longer, so I kept extended my stay and stayed for 3 weeks in total.Also, the little Thai restaurant across the street cooks some of the most delicious Thai food I've ever had!Highly recommended if you're visiting Koh Samui.

I stayed with Sam at the Aforetime Hostel for almost 2 weeks and I quickly felt at home... the location & the service are simply great, I slept very well and everything was always super clean. Sam helps in all areas and always tries to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I loved the quiet location and with a scooter everything is super easy to explore and find. I loved the temple diagonally opposite and if you walk to the left on the beach for a while you come across incredibly beautiful little bays with deserted mini beaches. I loved it in Taling Ngam and wish Sam all the best and many lovely guests.

Our stay at Aforetime House was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the dorms were clean and comfy, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Great value for budget travelers. I'd happily stay here again!

But you can rent a motorcycle from the boss or the store opposite.👍3. The hotel is relatively close to the pier. You can ask the boss for the fare (forgot the price), but it is far from the airport and the fare is about 700-1000 (very expensive).👍4. The most beautiful sunset spot in the west, the sunset scenery is different every day, the location is really great👍5. The house is very unique as an ancient house. The bed is very good to sleep in. The private room is even better. (But the sound insulation of the ancient house is not good, so you need to accept the sound of many people and people moving around when sleeping. Occasionally, residents in the public area will barbecue and drink and chat late at night. Quarrel)👍6. The wifi is very strong, and there is no air conditioning (with electric fans) from 11 am to 5 pm. Occasionally, there will be power outages in the entire area. The public space is not large. An outstanding place to stay. Very relaxed atmosphere that is both quiet and social. The dorm room was very nice - plenty of space, large lockers (with padlock provided!), extremely comfortable beds and even had excellent AC! The bathrooms are clean and showers are very good.The location of the hostel is amazing - less than 50m from a gorgeous quiet beach. There is a small, family run restaurant across the road which has lovely food. They also sell some snacks, drinks and essentials (e.g. toothbrushes, toothpaste).Sam, the owner, is absolutely lovely - extremely polite, kind and helpful. He even asked us for suggestions to help improve the hostel - we didn't have any!!! We didn't expect our stay to be as nice as it was especially as the price is so low!
