Very good for the price, I’ve read the other bad reviews and I disagree. Free breakfast was very nice and there were lots of options. Staff were lovely. The rooms are basic but have everything you need. Would stay there again. Also saw a cool frog, love that.

The chalets are good but nothing to put your things down. A small stream that passes at the bottom. Lots of monkeys but you shouldn't leave anything on the terrace and close the door.It's very green and very quiet.The restaurant is very long.The buffet breakfast may be lacking in quantity.The pedestrian entrance to the park is nearby but the pier on the lake is far away.

Does not deserve the bad reviews, lovely people worked hard to get everyone breakfast the morning we arrived even for the people who had just arrived and hadn’t checked in yet like us.Rooms are basic we stayed without air con it was fine, if your a budget backpacker like us trust me it’s no worse then where you’ve stayed before don’t let the Karen’s fool you complaining.You are very much in the jungle so to speak with monkeys giant frogs and other abundance of animals around you but your in khao sok there’s no avoiding that! The people at the resort chased the monkeys off for us thankfullyThere a beautiful creek at the bottom of the path tooOverall I’d recommend it’s the cheapest in the town for what you get.Our expectations bc of previous reviews made our stay a pleasant surprise tbh

Location - great. Close to the "center" and also to the park.The service is nice, but what we get as information and what it actually is are two different issues.We had no water - the information "it will be there in 20 minutes" came after 4.5 hoursRooms - very, very basic. A bathroom with ants is standard. (generally, we wouldn't book accommodation there, it was accommodation from a travel agency)Breakfast - good, but when three couples came, we had to wait.The location and shape of the houses in the jungle are a big plus.

Not too far to walk from main area. East check in and breakfast was included but the rooms fans were not very efficient nor were the electrical sockets. The mosquito nets had holes in and our bathroom wasn’t clean. Nor did our door lock but luckily all was fine as we bolted it at night from the inside. There is a walkway to the river and a swing where was saw monkeys and the receptionist was helpful and able to sort out laundry and tours if you wanted. The water tank to fill up was also unclean and not working so I wouldn’t return.

Excellent breakfast, super friendly, fun, charismatic staff and we don't speak the same language, nice rooms and the right place to rest, just a few minutes walk from the town, there you can organize any tour of the area or tickets to others Thailand destinations, we are very happy, thank you very much 😊

We would have preferred not to give a star at all. We stayed there for one night as a stopover to continue our journey to Cheow Lan Lake.Our room was the worst we have ever experienced.Ant plague in the bathroom and living area.PVC floor unrolls.Electrics don't work. Fan and lamps defective. Toilet smells like sewage. Silicone seals all moldy and rotten or completely gone. No hot water in the shower. Mold under the sink.Sheets with holes. Unwashed bedding. Dirt on the towel. Cobwebs everywhere. Bedside cabinet broken. No TV. No kettle. No other extras. Just a dirty bed.We were happy when the night was over. Never these dumps again! The fact that someone would expect something like that and offer it is an impudence.

I had half a double bungalow for 40€/nightThe partition wall is so thin that you can hear everything from the neighbor.There is no proper bed linen, just two horse blankets for 4 people,Sheets stained and with holes,AC cannot be regulated, it is just ice cold,No closet, no wall hooks, no hangers, just a small bedside table,Bedside lamp doesn't work, there is only one for 4 people.In the bathroom there is only one towel rail for 4 towels,The WiFi keeps cutting out.I had a large Indian bullfrog in the room. Relatively central location, huts are very simple, there were problems with electricity and water (lights, water didn't work at first and water pipe leaked outside) but these were repaired after a few hours and insects are to be expected (beetles, ants... ) but is also located in the jungle. Slightly unpleasant smell in the room, cellar-like. Staff very nice, but hardly speaks English. Breakfast delicious. Restaurants are easy to reach and tours can be booked from there.

The location is great, close to amenities, bars, restaurants, tourist agencies and the national park.The staff are pleasant and helpful, the food is good.The monkeys are very present, which is quite folkloric.But on the other hand the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, it smells damp and musty, yes I know we are in the jungle, we left to go 40 meters further and yet it is very different.No furniture to store your belongings for a room of more than 20m2, nor even in the bathroom. All belongings, including toiletry bags, must remain on the floor.Smell of sewer in the bathroom.Finally, unlike another hotel just a little further away, everything is in the shade (and therefore humid), no light.

I don't give a lower score because I don't know it's possible.As we arrived, the lady wanted to sell us excursions first of all.He then went to check if there were monkeys in the room but it seems that he forgot to check if it was clean or not.Very dirty room, moldy sheets, musty smell, dirt in the room, unidentified things in the sink, insects in the bathroom and even the toilet paper had mold.In short, we didn't stay to check more because we changed accommodation and I emphasize that I am a backpacker and not very demanding, but cleanliness is always something I take into account!Add that when we went to return the key he didn't even look at us in the face, he just told us that he wouldn't give us the reservation money back.
