+ The location, the ac, that it is a detached house and the friendly family that runs it.Walking distance to the beach and perfect location from which to explore the island in all directions.- Very little of what was in the description was correct (dining area, chairs, sofa group, drying rack, etc., etc. were completely missing.)- Digital TV was available (+), but only Thai speech/text.- The furniture: there was a bed, a very dirty, upholstered armchair with footstool and a low TV stand. No drawers, shelves, hooks, no mirror in the room, poor lighting, no tables, benches, bedside tables or the like, two misplaced wall sockets, etc. (We could never unpack our things but had them in our bags.)- It was dirty and a lot of ants and other small bugs (especially the curtains, floors, walls and the kettle (!) were dirty).- Constantly wet bathroom floor due to leakage from the AC.- The "fully equipped kitchen" only had a fridge, kettle, toaster, 5 odd plates/bowls, 2 spoons, 2 forks, 2 worn placemats. No hob, microwave or so...- Poor water pressure (no water pressure at all on three occasions).- We had to buy a lot of kitchen and cleaning things to make it work smoothly. (We thought at the time that the low price (approx. 550 BHT) should have been a warning bell for us - but have now discovered that there are significantly more affordable accommodations in the same price range.)On the plot there is also a larger and newer "double bungalow" which is probably much better equipped. I suspect the good reviews come from there🤔

The rooms are comfortable and have privacy. *Easy to find things to eat* There is Lotus Espress, 7-Eleven, restaurants and grocery stores.
