Very positive experience with this family pension.Thank you very much to father J and son P.They made us feel at home with their modesty and friendliness.Congratulations on the new member of the family who decided to be born on the same day we checked out.😊As far as the rooms are concerned, it is a good price/quality ratio.We get what we pay for.The room was clean when we arrived.We entered on a Wednesday and left the following Sunday. They didn't change the sheets during that time and they didn't change the towels, and they won't deliver toilet paper daily. Those were the least good situations. But we asked for fresh towels and toilet paper and were very kindly given them. I believe that if we had asked for the sheets to be changed it would have been done with the usual friendliness.

You get what you pay for. Most of the staff is very friendly.Edit: the staff is friendly as long as you don't make instant porridge in the kitchen?? They provide cups and hot water, so two mornings we made our own porridge. First time it was the older man who said something trying to hush me away when he noticed I was making porridge. Then, another morning the older woman did the exact same thing.. We didn't make a mess and cleaned our cups thoroughly each time, I wonder what was the issue

I’ve stayed here three times now, can’t beat it for price. Plenty of interesting eating places nearby, great service. They can also book transport for you. I felt very comfortable as a solo woman traveler.

Stayed here for 7 days during a visit to Krabi Town.Decent WiFi. Room was very clean and spacious with private bathroom area.Very comfortable beds (twin room).The reception area was great with a chilled cool vibe.Close to the very local morning market (5.30am to 10 or 11am). Some fantastic food stalls, probably more for the many other stall holders (fruit veg and fresh meats etc), but we were welcomed with open arms when we visited.Hotel also very close to a 7 Eleven - 1 minute walk.It's a 5 minute walk to the more central area but as with most of Thailand, there's always things to see during these walks.

I would never go! I saw a post on facebook today. Housekeeper lady started cleaning before guests checked out! Owner came and yelled out at guests! Omg! No way! Be careful guys!

I'm not going to knock this place. My girl and the lady cleaning our room got into a little scuffle and I think both sides were a little at fault... But I also think it might have been a cultural thing so I'm not going to knock the place on that. I think the main guy in charge and I kind of saw what was happening and we were the cooler heads. So even though me and my girl had planned on staying another night and upgrading to a better room, which is basically how the situation got started... During the move...We Basically came to agreement. That would be best for us to move to a different hotel.All that being said, for a budget night or two, stop over this place is a win for you.

One of the best budget hotels I've ever stayed in Thailand. Aged, but very clean and well maintained rooms for a decent price. I'll definitely be back, when in Krabi Town!

For this price, a very decent hostel. Close to the Night Market and close to the river. Next to it is a large Market and 7/11. The rooms are large, clean, the furniture is a bit dated, but they seem well-kept. The view from the window is not great ;) The air conditioning works well, as does the hot water. Downstairs there are tables with fans where you can sit and drink a beer or a drink from the bar (reasonable prices). The owners are an older couple and you can communicate with them very well in English. They are helpful and helpful. Various tours and transport to other cities can be booked at the property. Unfortunately, I have some reservations here, because the bus we were booked to Koh Lanta turned out to be from a company that has a rating of 1.2/5 on Google. And you could feel it - the driver sometimes behaved like a madman on the road, the air conditioning was bad (at 35 degrees outside it is very important) and some seats were simply broken. Also in this area, I recommend verifying which company is booking you through the hostel

Good quality for this price. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Location is very good as well. Rooms are basic, but have everything you need. We even had an aircon, which was super comfortable. They also helped us arrange transportation to Khao Sok for the next day and everything went extremely smoothly.

Very cheap, very cheerful. We booked a room with air conditioning and our own bathroom - we got a closet of about 7 sq.m. with a window overlooking the stairs inside the hotel, someone is constantly walking along it. The bed is very comfortable and soft, but there is not enough light. The toilet is tiny, the sink is brought into the room, we couldn’t get hot water. There is no refrigerator. Couldn't get coffee this morning. The market nearby closes in the afternoon. We spent the night and left.--Room with own bathroom and air conditioner... has no windows! It's inside the building. Not enough light but noisy because of the stairs. Bed was comfy though.Room is very small, with sink in the living space, not in the bathroom. No fridge. No chairs or table.Water heater is broken.No free soap or shampoo. No coffee in the morning.Maharaja market closes about midday, surprisingly.Krabi town is quite far from Ao Nang Beach, keep that in mind.

SCANDALOUS!We only stayed one night arriving late in the evening. In the morning when checking out, after checking our room, the woman at reception accused us of stealing bath towels. We explain to her that this is not the case and that we had 2 towels in our room and not 4 as she says, nevertheless she insists and aggressively "asks" us to search our bags to retrieve the towels. At first we don't accept, then she insists, saying that if we have nothing to hide then she can search. We show him the bags and tell him that NO we don't have the towels (we have our own too so we wouldn't need them...). She then decides to empty our bags by putting our things ON THE GROUND! She realizes we don't have them. Shocked, we ask her to put our things back in the bags since we have to take the plane, she puts everything back into a ball, crushing the pages of our books! A total lack of respect and she doesn't even blame herself. She ends up telling us that we took the towels from the beach and left them there even though we weren't even there!In short, she doesn't give up and doesn't question herself, continuing to be unpleasant for a long time. Until the manager came and they finally realized it wasn't us who asked for extra towels. The manager apologized for the misunderstanding but the woman didn't care and didn't seem sorry at all. For someone who works at reception, level 0 of skills is reached. Be careful with your belongings if you go there, they are not reliable or caring people unfortunately.

Does not have to be!It is a low budget accommodation option but you can keep it clean and replace dirty toilet seats. The air conditioning took about an hour before the cold air spewed out and on the fourth floor directly under the roof, which is partly made of corrugated iron, it is almost unbearable without air conditioning. When we arrived we actually wanted to leave straight away but there was no way to get our money back. So we spent three nights there and really only tried to be in the hut to sleep. One of the worst things we have encountered on a trip to Thailand lasting several weeks. The owner is available if you need anything, and you can also book tours to your next destination there, even cheaper than online. The laundry service is great…Conclusion: if it can be avoided you shouldn't sleep there, otherwise it's ok.

I liked the place, the large room, the one I booked has A/C, I know there are others that don't. The service was very friendly and they helped me with everything, the place is close to everything and is quiet. I will surely come back here

Great value for money!Comfortable rooms, nice staff - very helpful.Not sure about the location, I was there only one night and left in the morning.They also have a travel agency which has good prices and they are open until 22!

We only stayed here for one night but the room had a comfortable bed, air conditioning and was a nice size. The en suite had a lovely warm shower. We were also able to check in an hour early as our room was ready. For the money paid it was really fantastic value.
