Great place! The hotel is ideally located, located next to last in front of a steep cliff, very quiet, you can enjoy nature and get complete relaxation. At the same time, it’s a 10-minute walk to the party places. Magnificent sea view, first line, sun loungers, swimming pool. Simply beautiful rooms with panoramic windows. Super friendly staff and very tasty breakfast. There are kayaks available for free. You can swim and snorkel. We spent 2 days in paradise.

It is down the end of the beach, a nice stroll back from the hubub. I didn't see a location I would prefer. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise from the regular hotel buffets.Only negative was that the local bars (i.e.,1min walk or less) didn't have Campari for my nightly negroni.

Best place to stay in Phi phi, amazing breakfast , room with the most gorgeous beach outside and impeccable staff . It’s cut off from the main noise and bustle of the heart of phi phi which is a good thing. Very peaceful and only 10-15 mins walking from the main centre. Highly recommend

One of the best hotels we have been to during our stay in Thailand! We took a room with sea views on the beachfront. Away from the hustle and bustle but 7 minutes from the area of bars and restaurants. The service is spectacular. They also kept our suitcases until the departure time of the Ferro and brought them to us at the time of our departure. Great variety at breakfast.

What stands out about Mama Beach is its location. 10 minutes walk from the center, but away from the tourist bustle. That's what I read in all the reviews and it's exactly like that. Surrounded by nature and a very quiet beach. It is worth highlighting the importance of the location since there are no land vehicles on the island, so if you are in a very isolated place the only way to get around is by boat taxi, which are quite expensive in relation to the prices charged in the island. The breakfast is excellent, and the warmth of attention of the people who work here is exceptional. It has a jacuzzi ideal for cooling off when you return from the beach, and it has a cocktail bar. I would return without a doubt

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. The accommodation has all the basics neatly covered. AC works amazingly well, which is a must in these temperatures, +fan in the room and the terrace! Location is perfect, as it's just far enough from the center not to be bothered by the noise, but close enough to easily access everything. We will surely come back!

It looks like there are bed bugs. When I woke up, there were bite marks like in the picture on the parts of my arms and legs that had never been exposed to the outside world.The pros are that the staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious.I made a reservation because the breakfast was delicious, but it was difficult because it was too far from the main street.

Had a great stay at Mama beach. Charming hotel, which is located at the end of the boulevard, away from the crowded centre (10min walk). Room was spacious and neat. Laundry service was quite expensive. Breakfast was the best we had so far in Thailand (fruit, pastries, eggs, yoghurts, thai and english options, cheese, pancakes, etc). Private beach area and refreshing jacuzzi. We recommend this hotel when you’re looking for some peace and quiet!

Mama Beach has been one of the best hotels I have been to in Thailand, the kindness and service of the staff was wonderful, they always welcomed you with a smile and helped you with all your requirements. We stayed there for a week and it was very good, very comfortable beds, far from the center so you didn't hear music at night, beach in front of the hotel, jacuzzi, a very complete and delicious breakfast. They also have luggage transfer service to and from the pier. 10/10 my experience there, I would choose them again.

Had a lovely time at this hotel! It was decently priced and although not anything very luxurious it was clean, comfortable and cute. The rooms were nice with a comfy bed, clean overall, nice balcony and bathroom. Location was nice for us as it wasn right in the middle of town. 5 minute walk to the heart of Phi Phi but means you don’t get hit with the insane noise from the clubs until 4am.

Great service! The receptionist and the security guy were super nice which made our experience at the mama hotel genuinely pleasant. The quality of the room was not quite worth the price and it was located a little far from where the food and stores were.But overall really good:)

We had a great 3 days stay at Mama beach.Location - Its located on the quieter side of the island. A good 10 mins walk away from the port and around 15 mins away from city center.Service - Friendly and helpful staff. Their breakfast spread is nice. However, I wish they extended their breakfast timings till 11 pm.They also provide porter service from port till hotel and vice versa.Rooms - Rooms albeit small are really nice, clean and well-done. We booked the sea view. It had a good sized balcony with the most picturesque view. Highly recommended.The only downside for us was the open concept bathroom, we would have preferred an enclosed bathroom for two reasons, there is a hotel located right behind mama beach and the bathroom curtains do not provide enough privacy, also at night insects and lizards do find their way into bathroom which makes it highly inconvenient.Also, unfortunately for us the, the TV was not working and the staff couldn't fix it.Property - Overall the property is well maintained and does have a jacuzzi which is a nice touch.There is no need of a swimming pool as mama beach has its own private section of the beach, which is just lovely.They also offer other paid services such as massages & water activities right at the beach. Unfortunately, we couldn't take advantage of that.Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and would definitely give it a consideration whenever we are planning another stay at Phi Phi.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 nights and have no complaints at all.- lovely spacious rooms and balcony- amazing breakfast with the best assortment of pastries I’ve seen across 6 months travelling- super friendly and accommodating staff- location was fantastic, only a 10 min walk to the main areas but lovely and peaceful at the hotel and on the beach away from all the major boat movementOverall a great stay and would return here if coming back to Phi Phi.
