Castaway Beach Bungalows

What a place. The beach is unsuitable for swimming but that's not a bad thing because otherwise it is simply magical. The hotel was one of the nicest I've ever stayed in and the manager Fan (I hope I spelled her name correctly) looked after our well-being around the clock. She is super nice and speaks perfect English. Gladly again at any time ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rarely have I had such beautiful, clean and idyllic accommodation as this one. Even though the island has a lot to offer, you can just enjoy lying in your hammock (which every house has) and watching the sea.The complex including the beach and the accommodation are very clean and well maintained. Fresh water is provided free of charge every day, and scooters and trips can be booked through the accommodation. The Castaway Café right next door also exceeds all expectations!The highlight is definitely the sunset, which you can watch every evening 🤩🌅

what a slice of paradise. we had one of the new bungalows, it was perfect, nice deck to relax in deck chairs and hammock. nice comfy 2 seater couch, and full size fridge and a microwave to heat those 711 toasted sandwiches up in! it was bliss. 5 minute walk to bakery and the best coffee on koh phangan and 711.plenty of restaurants, weed shops and laundry on the way. it is september and the bad weather has come early so it was windy most of the time but they had plastic sides to pull down you could still see out at the view but be sheltered from the wind. They were down alot so sadly i could not relax in the hammock - one of my favorite pastimes. The tide was out most day, but you could roam around on the sand barsand paddle in the water. The restaurant did not open to 9am for brekky so we would visit the bakery at 7am for coffee until 9am when we could eat here. Everything we tried in the restaurant was delicious. It was not an large menu but what they did have they did extremely well. honestly the best penang curry i have ever tasted, it was delicious, even the fish and chips were yum! And best pikletes/pancakes for brekky, not to mention the breakfast muffin, and the coffee is good as well. the wine was nice and served in a nice glass. the staff were just lovely and attentive, our waiter was fabulous, such a nice polite and helpful young man. when they thought the rains or wind would come they would pull down our sides, and pull them up again when it died down. we had a couple of fronts come in, which were great to watch and did not last long. the restaurant has a very cool vibe, they have got this place so right for an amazing relaxed stay right on the beach, its idyllic. People come just to sit and watch sunset, you can walk across sand bars and out to get closer to the sunsets. We were lucky that on our last night we got a brilliant sunset. I had the best massages as well for very reasonable price 500B for one hour, very good massage. i would highly recommend castaway for a relaxed holiday we spent our days relaxing on our deck taking in the amazing view, strolling around the sand bars, and eating delicious food at our restaurant. Well done!

Mate this place is the perfect beach hut experience ever and I have done a few!. The resort is maintained so bloody well.... Down to the private beach being cleaned every day. It's a dream!
