We are backpackers and booked this room as a treat for ourselves. We booked the king room, and some of the reasons were the AC, free breakfast and TV. None of these were worth it.The TV did not come with a remote, and when we asked the staff, they avoided eye contact and said there was no remote for TV - so we couldn't use it at all and couldn't plug our own device into it. Kind of misleading advertisement. The AC did not feel that cold.The free breakfast is inedible. We had it on the first day, but it seemed gross and unsanitary so we skipped it the rest of the days we spent her.The garden and room are both large and beautiful. And there is a front porch area with a daybed and bean bag chairs (that were both dirty). So the place has a lot of potential.But the shower-water smells like sewage.Our toilet paper roll had a brown stain on it... Not sure if it's from rust or some sort of bodily fluid.Staff were not friendly, and it made my partner feel kind of anxious.

It was ok, overall it's good for the money you pay, the rooms are very large and spacious, large terrace with chillout area that's really great π.Breakfast is ok 3/5Unfortunately, the staff is a bit demotivated, i.e. the manager isn't really communicative and always seems annoyed. When I asked if they could sort it out with the WIFI, nothing was done, we didn't have WI-FI for a week but that's not really a bad thing, I'm more surprised I feel like the staff is at a loss and they don't even try to find a solution.But as I said, overall it's a nice, idyllic homestayWhat you can recommend π

A little corner of paradise! Quiet, greenery everywhere! Very well maintained, spacious rooms, welcoming staff and always there to help with information. You can rent scooters, surf lessons, etc. It is better to go through the hotel, the rates are more attractive

The place is really nice, but the bathrooms are awful. The toilet broke, the shower super dirty (I never tried because it was disgusting) and also the room was really dirty.There are amazing places around!

For the price you pay it is great value but there were a few things that we felt that even for a budget option let our stay down. Our toilet barely flushed, we did raise this with the property owners they looked at it and that was about all that happened. We had to use the bidet hose to help the toilet flush. The mosquito net over the bed was covered is lizard poo, we told them and it was cleaned (the stained net remained), however as the stay went on the lizards (large) were in the roof and pooβing on it daily, the smell was really unpleasant. We ate breakfast there for the first few days until we saw a rat climbing through the kitchen and later that day watched 4 rats take our left over pancake from the kitchen, so we didnβt eat there after that. Though it is a budget option, the accommodation should come with a reasonable level of hygiene. We also didnβt experience the friendliness other people mention in their reviews, the two men who alternatively worked there barely said a word to us or any of the other visitors. That aside it is a very nice set up with a nice garden and outdoor area with hammocks and beanbags and a fridge inside which is always a bonus. And the Main Street is a short walk away.
