I stayed a week there in Oct 2023 and my expirience was amazing. I stayed in both shared spaces and private rooms. Super clean excellent location and Bruno (the owner) and his wife are super hosts. The staff is always trying to assit you in anything you need. I highly reccomend staying there.. by the way I am going again this week ( sept 2024) Support lombok locals!!

Spend 3 nights here and it was good. The room was a bit warm. But the service was amazing. Super good breakfast cheap scooter rental. I lost my wallet and they where so nice and helpful. Really good hostel to stay in Kuta.

This place is managed by a very peaceful, easygoing and helpful family and the also live there. Yes, beds and rooms are not the best and can be improved but I liked the vibes there and feeling of safety and peace. Just watching their cute 3-4 years old twins playing in the garden was enough reason to be there. Not for party guys but real travellers. They also offer motorbike with a very reasonable price.

Unfortunately, I don’t understand the overwhelming positive reviews!Yes, it’s cheap, but I still expect a certain level of comfort. The room had a very bad smell. I honestly think that maybe it was from mould? When I sat on the bed, the sheets felt damp. The bathroom takes basic to a new level, and just not very clean. I didn’t stick around long enough to comment any further on the room.Location is good- short walk to everything.We had a private room, which are kind of out the back, and there was some sort of small construction project going on directly at the front of the room.The people were very friendly, but it just wasn’t a place where I felt comfortable staying. We checked out and found an alternative. The owner kindly gave a full refund. She didn’t ask why we were leaving.

Unfortunately, I didn't feel comfortable, even though the staff and family were very friendly and the breakfast was also good. The bed linen was full of stains, the bathroom wasn't particularly inviting and what bothered me most was the musty smell in the room, as the doors were always locked and there was no way to ventilate.

Really friendly hostel. Always a smile from Ari in the morning and a delicious breakfast. The place is small so you very quickly get to know the people staying there and make friends. I stayed in multiple places in Kuta and Mellow was my favourite. Thanks to Bruno and family for your hospitality! Hopefully see you again.

Best Hostel in Kuta. Chill vibe, cute and super social. Had an amazing time staying there. Bruno is an exceptional Host and helped me a lot. Beds are comfortable, Breakfast is nice and everything is clean. Thank you for having me!

Had a very good time! We had a private room with bathroom. It was clean and AC worked very well. The area is calm and Centre is easy to reach. Bruno and his wife are so kind and try to help as much as they can. Recommend staying here.

As soon as we arrived and entered into the room the smell of mold was so hard hitting. We sat on the bed and felt the damp rise up through the matress.We booked this place based on the reviews and I'm so astonished as to how nobody has mentioned these huge flaws. So needless to say we canceled straight away and found somewhere else.

My stay at Mellow Hostel in a private room was amazing. Perfect location, nice.breakfast in the morning and water, coffee and tea all day long. Ari and Bruno have been amazing and take very good care of their guest and can arrange everything for you if you need anything. Thank you for everything!

Wow, best hostel ever. The host Bruno and the staff was amazing. It was as if they directly included me into their community. Ari's omelette in the moring was also incredible. Highly recommend this place without a doubt!!! I'm excited to visit again.

Loved my stay here, I booked 3 nights and ended up staying for 11 days. Bruno, Ari, and Julie are great and accommodating and are more than happy to help arrange whatever you need from motorbike rentals to tours. They also make free pancakes and eggs in the morning, and there’s coffee and tea and a kitchen. Showers have hot water which is also a plus.

It is a small, family-run hostel. It is very very good and the owners, both June and Bruno, are very very nice! For me charming! The price is cheap and includes breakfast. One of the best hostels I've been to. The atmosphere with the roommates has also been great and that has also made me more comfortable. I came for four nights and I've been here for more than a week! The rooms and bathrooms are clean, you can rent motorcycles, routes, a surf teacher...

We are delighted with the treatment received by Bruno and June (the owners), super attentive and friendly in every detail. Every day Bruno prepared breakfast for us with all the love in the world!! Very rich. Very well-kept hostel, economical, good vibes and centrally located!! I recommend it 100%
