The place was beautifully located on the cliffs in Suraya Bali. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and accommodation was amazing.

One of the most memorable hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s located at the peak of a mountain and sits below a cliff edge. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of touristic Bali and sits very secluded from humanity. It’s a total serene experience and you are left with the local villages and its welcoming people. The service is exceptional and the cleanliness is very thought through. I’d recommend it for a couple getaway and relaxation from city life.The only downfall is that shopping for basic necessities are very scarce so id suggest doing your shopping become coming here. And taxi service is a little pricey and Gojek doesn’t accept service in that location as it’s so remote.

We were very satisfied here. Our villa “sea” was huge and had a gigantic infinity pool. Everything was new and furnished and the staff were always very friendly. There was even a turndown service. The only thing we found a bit annoying was the ringing of the bell before the employees came in. I think the better option would be to just be there at the appointed time.

The staff were wonderful - very friendly and helpful! A lovely and quiet place as only 6 villas and the shared infinity pool is huge overlooking the ocean.Downside - The location is out of the way (which can be a good thing). We had not looked into it so was just not prepared to have to travel as far as we did. The staff were helpful in helping us arrange a scooter though.

A beautiful and quiet place. An incredible view from the room and top service. When you are in Shunyata you are like in a dream as your apartment is spacious and comfortable. You can enjoy your private pool or swim in the 36 ml long pool where I was all alone every time.Dinner served in your room with candles and flowers.Take a massage session this a bit expensive but the best we did in Bali 🙏Take advantage of Wayan’s services to discover beautiful places like Virgin beach.The only point to improve is the menus (which are excellent) because after a few days you have had the tour.

Our experience at shunyata villas was great. We chose it for our honeymoon. They had written our initials on the bed for us. We loved it. The view was great. Our private pool was very clean. Our room was very clean. Our room was cleaned meticulously twice a day. The idea of an outside toilet is great! We had so many different experiences. The staff was very attentive. Our breakfast came at any time we wanted in less than a minute. They are very punctual😊 We tried almost all the dishes on the menu. All of them were great. Their desserts were also great! Perhaps the only problem was that it was too far away. But that was a negligible deficiency. shunyata was like a dream for us. Thank you for everything🙏🏻💙

The hotel is very secluded, just as we wanted. It's a perfect place to escape from everyday life and fully enjoy the moment.Our Sky Villa was beautifully decorated in white. The balcony was especially lovely, where we could enjoy the view during the day from the comfortable loungers. The room cleaning was excellent. Unfortunately, we didn't use the private pool in the villa often, as there was constantly a strange film on the water, and it was much colder than the main pool. Since the villa’s pool wasn’t often exposed to the sun, it didn’t get warm enough for us to stay in it for long. In hindsight, we would probably have booked the Sea Villa instead.The food mainly consists of organic products, which we found very impressive. The vegan and vegetarian menus for lunch and dinner enchanted us every time. The dishes were not only delicious but also varied. The only downside was the bread at breakfast, which didn’t meet our expectations; it was rather bland in taste and the slices were too thin for our liking.The staff was always very friendly and competent. We especially appreciated that they regularly checked on our well-being and engaged in pleasant small talk. We also enjoyed learning more about the lives of the locals.The main pool is an absolute highlight. It offers plenty of space to relax and unwind in the evening. Unfortunately, the "Pina del Bali" cocktail we tried by the pool was a bit too alcoholic for our taste – less would have been more in this case. However, the homemade chips with pesto were absolutely delicious.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed at the Sea Villa for 3 nights, and it was the ideal place to escape from the tourist crowds. The view from our villa was simply unforgettable, offering a tranquil and serene atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, always attentive and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, and the quality exceeded what you’d find in most 5-star hotels. The on-site restaurant also served amazing food. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place.
