The only positive aspect of this place is the location, with some areas offering a lake view. Unfortunately, the staff was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in providing any hospitality. They are very inflexible and barely speak English. While the room wasn’t the worst I’ve seen, it was still dirty, smelly, and far from pleasant.

Stray dogs stole one of my sandals from outside the room and the manager refused to take responsibility. There were trucks grinding up the steep road past the hotel all day and night. The bathtub was grimy.

Great hotel overlooking Mount Batur. The bus stopped on the main road but they made every effort even though they only have one car to pick us up making multiple trips. They did the same thing the next morning for departure. The rooms are large, spacious and clean (pay attention to the superior rooms from the basic ones, the basic ones are quite ugly but given the price you can afford to choose the best ones). The staff is super courteous and the boy accompanied me up to the village to get takeaway food for anyone who wanted to eat fish or meat since they only serve noodles and rice. breakfast was also excellent. super recommended.

Paid 65aud!! for the last room (bigger) that was next to the stairwell and directly under the restaurant seating with chairs scraping the roof regularly. Loud euros on stairway and again at 5am (whispering doesn't seem an option for some idiots) as they began THEIR day.In the morning I saw there were actually multiple rooms available and mine was the worst and noisiest by far.There was not a buffet breakfast either, ala carte ordering only by a sleepy cook.Sand trucks constantly using road outside room early til late.Staff member who booked me in doesn't even brush his hair or wash his face in the morning.Sloppy. Room tired too.I left early wo brekkie .Thanks guys!Great view is upside but common in area.
