Trek was fun and guides are very knowledgeable. My rating is more for the guesthouse. I got food poisoning from having dinner there. I told 2 members of the staff and no one cared. One member told me monkeys will sometimes get into the kitchen to steal food so I can see why I got sick. Still had to pay for my ginger tea the next morning which is no big deal but would have been a nice gesture after I just told you I've been up sick all night from eating at your restaurant. They did allow me to check out late so that was appreciated. The room is basic and you definitely get what you pay for (the bathroom is exposed to the elements as I had a slug on the wall). Mosquito net doesn't cover the whole bed so you have to be in the fetal position to be in it or end up touching it with your body and you know they never get washed. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable stay. Glad it was only one night.

We stayed here for several nights and did a 3-day jungle tour with the guides Brian, Juicerice (;-)) and Teddy.The entire stay was made super friendly and, above all, authentic by all the employees. We were also helped very courteously with the classic Asian stomach ache and everyone showed genuine interest in us feeling well again soon.The jungle trek was great, and the jungle taxi at the end was highly recommended.Our guides had a great sense of humor, but also gave us all kinds of freedom and always gave us a good feeling. When it came down to it, they were suitably serious - a great combination! Gladly again!

We stayed 6 nights here in their Jungle Dreams bungalows. It was perfect, we had a beautiful bungalow with a/c, a terrace and hot water in the 5* bathroom! We also ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. They have an extensive menu and the staff are so lovely. Our jungle trekking experience was great and we were taken care of by our excellent guides Waka and Nasir. They have even helped us with transport onto our next destination. A fabulous team who really looked after us.No hesitation in recommending them if you are looking for a place to stay, eat or trek in Bukit Lawang. They also support and work with a local school and other eco projects.

I eat Satay and Mie Goreng Special. The food was good until a throw up all night. 2 other people from my group had the same issue.

We didn't spend the night here, but did the jungle trek. A unique and amazing experience! Our guides Bim and Baris had a lot of fun and gave us a great day. They gave us as much time to observe the monkeys as we wanted. We also took a few breaks, which was very pleasant in the heat. The two of them had some food with them, which they had freshly prepared. The food was excellent.In particular, we can only recommend the way back with the “jungle taxi” across the river.Great experience that we can fully recommend!
