DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE PHOTOS. This accommodation is not what it shows. We arrived and the person who greeted us didn't know anything about our reservation or which room to send us to. He put us in the first one that was ready. The “garden views” are of an abandoned yard full of mud. It is very hot inside the room even with the fan on. With how humid the environment is, there is no place to hang towels. The shower not only got the entire bathroom wet, but it got even the ceiling wet because of how poorly it worked. And only cold water comes out, there is no hot water. We wanted to go out to ask for help and there was no one there. They don't give you water nor is there a minibar or electric kettle like in the other accommodations. We wanted to ask to use the kitchen to heat water and leave our bottles in the refrigerator and they wouldn't let us. We asked for a refund because we saw other much better accommodations for the same price and they refused. They didn't even confirm our reservation on Agoda. Don't stay here.

Lovely non profit hostel/dog rescue centre, beautiful rooms decorated in a neutral wicker scandi style with amazing hosts who were both relaxed and helpful for a very reasonable price! The dogs are the absolute cutest especially Brownie, and a great greeting when you come home

Accommodation where the proceeds go towards a shelter for stray animals that have been given a second chance at life.The rooms are designed beautifully; rustic, boho vibes and have a homely feel to them. Good location, 10 min to the beach or walking street.Run by the sweetest Thai and German couple Nidnoi & Jonas with unconditional love for animals. You can take the dogs for a walk to the beach or head down to the beach to feed the strays there with Nidnoi. The animals are really well looked after.Lipe guesthouse will live rent free in my mind! Can’t wait to return.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights in this guesthouse and we wished we could have stayed longer!! The owners of the guesthouse are super hospitable and relaxed. The dogs and cats are also friendly and very well behaved and the room is cute and it has everything you need. We absolutely loved our stay and we definitely recommend it.

I stayed at Sunflower Guesthouse for 4 nights.What a beautifully decorated guesthouse this is in terms of styling.And you also support a good cause, the care of the island's dogs.The dogs are all equally sweet, and the cats that usually stay upstairs are cute too.I had a room with a fan, which was quite difficult at times because it is very hot on Koh Lipe at the moment. There are also rooms with air conditioning. The bed is very comfortable with a good set of pillows. There are many sockets in the room, great. The bathroom is very small, the shower is almost above the toilet, which was not a problem for me. There is no hot water, I didn't find that pleasant with hair washing... 😂 There is no refrigerator in the room, but you can use the refrigerator in the kitchen. And you can tap water for your water bottle yourself. Upstairs there is a cozy balcony where you can sit.Jonas and his girlfriend are spontaneous people who want to help you with everything. The guesthouse is a 5-minute walk from the walking street and the sunrise beach, so absolutely fantastic.Maybe as a tip:• Place a fan on the balcony, for example, so you can chill out there or read a book. It's so cozy there.• And hang some shelves in the room so you can store a little more, for example your toiletries because they don't fit in the bathroom.Can definitely recommend staying here if you are on Koh Lipe.Thank you very much for everything and good luck with your beautiful project!!! 🙏🏻

Everything was clean and eco friendly. I especially liked the dogs around and in the house 😊.It was a bit sad that there was no place for relaxing outside, as I expected this with the photos. But the beautiful Marcilla and Sunrise beach are just a short walk away. So you can enjoy your time there.

Really nice owners, cozy furnished room, short walking distance to the main street. If you are an animal lover, this is highly recommended. They take care of the dogs and cats on the island. There were puppies there when we were there which was super cozy!
