Tajima Main Building is my favorite in Myoken Onsen! The three types of spring water are all wonderful, and the staff are all very pleasant. The cats will soothe you and make you feel at home in the room. If I had to say one thing, it would be nice if the fried food in the meal was warm. I will go again!

It is located in a beautiful natural environment surrounded by nature. There are mountains and rivers in the surrounding area, and you can enjoy the scenery of each season. You can spend a luxurious time soaking in a hot spring surrounded by nature. It has the atmosphere of a hot springs inn, but that's what I really liked. The semi-open-air hot spring facing the Amori River has Kiriyu and Stomach Bath. The locals also enjoy the hot springs to their heart's content, calling them ``hot springs that don't require canes.'' Both dinner and breakfast were made with local ingredients and were very delicious.

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2024. The bathhouse, which had the feel of a very simple spa, was a nice inn.Even though I was staying alone, I was assigned a 1DK room with a kitchen, so I was able to use the room luxuriously. We had two meals included, but the meals seem to vary depending on the day.On days when there were a lot of guests, it was nice to have tempura as the main dish, as well as grilled river fish, small hotpots, and bonito sashimi, but on days when I was the only one who had a meal, I mainly had ginger grilled food, which was a huge disappointment. I almost laughed.

This is a boarding house for the Obon holiday. Above all, it's a homely inn that isn't extravagant. It's a simple inn where guests get along well with each other. Naturally, the hot springs are free-flowing. We also offer drop-in baths, so depending on the time of year and day of the week, it can get crowded during the day. There is an indoor bath for guests only, but it's a bit small. Yes, there are also signboard cats, so cat lovers may find it even more relaxing.

I experienced a day trip bath and was amazed at the changes in my body after that, so I decided to stay overnight next time and stayed there in February 2022. As everyone has said, the hot water is really wonderful! Currently, there are some hot springs that you can only access if you stay overnight, so if you want to fully enjoy Myoken Onsen, please stay overnight and enjoy it at your leisure. The hot springs are used daily by locals, and they gave us some tips on how to bathe. The Kagoshima dialect made me feel nostalgic. Both dinner and breakfast were well seasoned and plentiful. It soaked my body in the same way as a hot spring. All the staff are courteous and warm. The two signboard cats will also be there to welcome you and see you off. As a side note, there is also a local product store near the airport, where you can purchase free-range chicken sashimi, chicken rice, and gane (kakiage with sweet potato), and have a drink for dinner. I made it as a side dish! Next time I would like to stay for 2 nights...I will definitely stay there again. It is a famous hot spring that I would like to preserve forever.Thank you for your help again for 2 nights and 3 days on May 23rd and 24th, 2024. My wish came true and I spent 3 days soaking up the hot springs! Luxury✨I had some time, so I took a walk around the area. I also went to Kumaso no Ana. Please be careful if you don't have enough exercise 🤣 It's quite hard. I won't go into it, but it's worth a visit. If you have the time and energy, please come! Hot springs and beer after exercise were special! We spent one day at the inn, and the other day we bought things from local shops and supermarkets. I cooked the sweetfish that I bought at a nearby shop, and it goes well with shochu. Needless to say, there are many repeat customers who stay at the inn, and you can sit around the hearth at night and have a good time talking and having fun. The unchanging scenery and hot water that warms your body are highly recommended! I hope next time I can bring my mom too.

A few years ago, I took a day trip to the hot springs and had lunch. I was happy to be able to eat an unexpectedly stylish curry. I remember it as a wonderful memory of my trip.

Day trip hot spring useThere is one indoor bathIsn't there a place to wash? SoI guess the main thing is soaking. It's free flowing, but the quantity is not that great.I like the brown bathroom that is unique to Myoken.
