Great stay with a family of 3, all the staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful both at reception and during meals. The location is quite pleasant on the mountainside with even an outdoor bath at river level. We also have several baths in addition to the public one or your room, if it has one, which can be privatized for a certain period.

On our long-awaited couple's getaway, we booked a room with an outdoor hot spring bath. It was wonderful to be able to control the temperature of the spring water ourselves and use fresh, untouched water that hadn’t been used by others. The kaiseki dinner served was exquisitely prepared, full of flavor and elegance, and the breakfast was equally well-prepared without any shortcomings. Above all, the staff's kindness and attention to detail left a lasting impression. It was a memorable stay, and we would love to visit this onsen ryokan again.

I went on a family trip during the Obon holiday.◾️Facilities◾️It's near the river. There was a landslide right before we checked in, so we had to take a different route than usual.I was grateful that the staff came out of their way to pick me up and led me by car. It's a little far from convenience stores, so I think it's best to buy anything you need, such as drinks, before visiting.◾️Guest room◾️We stayed in a special room with an open-air bath. The room was very spacious, more than enough for a family of three. The staff taught us how to adjust the open-air bath, and we enjoyed the hot springs many times. There is also a shared indoor bath and an open-air bath that can be reserved for private use.The time slot for private open-air baths is limited based on check-in order, so if you have a desired time, we recommend checking in early. To reach the private open-air bath, go down the stairs and head near the river. It may be a little difficult for people with walking disabilities. Also, if it's late at night, you'll have to carry a flashlight as you head out, so if you're concerned about that, it might be best to go in the evening or early in the morning.◾️Food◾️I stayed on the cooking upgrade plan. All of the dishes were delicious, but I thought the portions were a bit lacking. It may be just right for women and the elderly, but it may be a little unsatisfactory for young people.I would like to thank all the staff for being so kind to me, even though there were children and it was noisy.I would like to visit again when I stay in Kagoshima.

Surrounded by nature, a river flows right next to the inn.A wonderful inn where you can enjoy an extraordinary experience 🍁There are two types of hot springs, alum springs and sulfur springs, a large bath and a family bath. It's irresistible for hot spring lovers😆For our meal, we enjoyed a leisurely Kaiseki meal in a semi-private room. For breakfast, we had a table full of food in the same room, and I felt happy from the morning. I was very satisfied. The two days and one night went by so quickly, but I had a wonderful time, filling my mind and body😊

I stayed there two summers ago. When I made the reservation, I was a little worried because it was an old inn, but when I actually visited, I found it to be very clean, clean, and the customer service was very polite. You can spend your time surrounded by fresh greenery and silence. The food was delicious and it was an inn that I would like to visit again 😊
