This is a 3.5 stars to me.Good value for your money but there are things to keep in mind.*The good stuff*- Location… it’s right outside the JR Station (exit Electric Town). It’s very convenient to go to Ginza & Tokyo Station. It’s an easy walk to the Tokyo Metro and the other metro line.- Bathroom size… the bathroom has a separate area for the shower area and toilette & sink area. This is not so common in Japan at this budget.- Rooms are very quiet. You’d never think you are next to the train rails.*The not-so-good stuff*- Beds are hard to sleep on. They are really firm/hard. We never got used to it. My body hurt every morning.- For long stays (more than 1 night), they have a policy of cleaning rooms only every 3 days. They will change towels and remove trash everyday but they won’t tide the room. However, you can request what they call “normal cleaning” to be done everyday. I did this after the 2nd day, no issues and no extra cost.- Laundry area is too small and can get chaotic. There are only 3 machines and over 100 rooms. There is a 30 min. policy to remove clothes if owners don’t pick it up. We had to wait almost 45 min in line to get access to the machine, there’s a lot of demand as expected. They would benefit from some sort of booking system and reduce the 30 min policy to 10 minutes. Machine rims should be cleaned or updated.Other than this, keep in mind this is not a luxury hotel. It’s a “worker” type of hotel, it’s supposed to be a recent hotel built for the 2021 Olympics. Don’t expect anything fancy. We had a few communication challenges with the front desk staff. One of the challenges caused some stress on us since we thought we would lose our flight home. Front desk staff are all very kind and willing to help but you have to be patient and simplify your communication. They rely a lot on a translation software they have on a tablet.Note: This hotel does not arrange luggage forwarding for you. You can do it on the konbibi store downstairs

While this hotel is not going to rival high-priced, full experience alternatives, this JR Hotel offers a very good experience - at least above average, for me - for a very fair price.

Purpose of use: TravelNumber of users: 2 peoplePlan: Stay overnight without mealsThe location is perfect, right next to Akihabara.Remm Akihabara is a competitor, but we chose it based on price and room size.I think the service is standard. You can self-select amenities from the latest SDGs next to the front desk.I have some mixed feelings about this, but I think this is what I think. If you are always going sightseeing and only stay in hotels to sleep.I think it can be an okay option. However, the hotel entrance is close to the Akihabara Station entrance and comes out at night.Unfortunately, it looks dirty because people with bad manners are littering.

Advantages:- Adequate space, amenities.- Polite staffs.Disadvantage:- Laundry machine usage rule is so annoying. I have to stay the laundry room until the unmannered customers get back their clothes. It will take you half an hour. Can't you shorten the waiting time to 10 minutes?- Compared to other hotels <= 3 stars, the room cleaning is once per 4 days, and it lets us clean the room by ourselves. Other hotels offen clean your room once per 2 days.

Good value for money but as other reviewers wrote-the room is very small and you will have difficulty opening your luggage if they are large. There is a large convenience store on the 1st floor which has everything traveller would need

The nearest station, Akihabara Station, has excellent access to all parts of Tokyo. And it takes about 2 minutes to get to the JR ticket gate from the front desk. Since it is a business hotel in such a convenient location, I thought it would just have some facilities, but the design was very sophisticated and I felt it was a good value for money. No, it was just an attractive room before cost performance. This is a hotel that you can use for work or spend time with your significant other. The check-in and check-out procedures are automated and very smooth. There was no line up even during busy hours. Although it is mechanized, staff members appear right away at important points, so I don't have any trouble, and I actually felt a sense of humanity. There's a convenience store and Starbucks right below, so I didn't have any problems.

It's gotten worse. My favorite place to stay has changed. I won't consider staying there again!(Check-in time: 16/4~20/4/2024)1. The room is not cleaned, only towels are changed / cups are not washed / the floor is not vacuumed / the bed + quilt are not tidied /2. Guests need to go to the self-service machine to check-in/3. If a "no cleaning sign" is posted, towels and bottles of water will not be replenished. You must go to the 2/F front desk to request them in person /4. Daily necessities can be picked up on the 2nd floor every day /5. There is no tea or coffee in the room, and you have to go to the public coffee machine on the second floor to get your own coffee /6. The hotel lobby and coffee machine on the second floor are used by unrelated outsiders from time to time /7. The convenience store (NewDays) connected downstairs is only open until 23:00. If it is too late, you have to walk a few minutes to FamilyMart or Lawson.8. There are only 2 elevators, and each time you go up or down, you have to stop on the second floor. It takes a lot of time to wait for the elevator.advantage:1. The hotel is really conveniently located, near the JR exit.2. Bathroom and toilet are separatedI have stayed here several times before (each stay lasts for 4 days or more) and I feel good about it. Even if the room price is expensive, I would like to stay again... So this time I upgraded to a more expensive terrace twin room. There was nothing at the time of booking. The environmental protection policy is ridiculous. The staff "didn't" mention the environmental protection policy during check-in, so I paid for it and experienced a lot of bad experiences...Finally... I found the reason. It turns out that Japan is for environmental protection. Since April 1, 2024, Japan has launched a [Basic Policy for Promoting Green Procurement] to reduce bottled water and disposable cups, but as for... not cleaning the room Well...does it matter?...If this hotel only uses this promotion policy (because I found that the next two hotels I stayed in have daily cleaning), you should think clearly whether it is worth the high price and no service...To put it simply, it's money spent and no service, and the hotel saves service/work, but there is no price reduction... sad
