Japan hotel rooms tend to be small consider pay extra a bit more space, usually corner room. Quiet clean and shower head and pressure is strong great. No breakfast / go out / nearby 7 eleven has great coffee general food options. Convenience train station and not far walk to Tsukiji fish market area costly meals and fun to see…overall hotel is fine and serves our need. Service always strong staff.

The Bay Hotel Tokyo is located in the Minato district. Hamamatsuchō Station and Daimon Station are both a few minutes away. The hotel is in a quieter area, but you can quickly get to the center of Tokyo on foot or by train. The hotel has a kitchen in the lobby that can be used free of charge. Among other things, there is an oven, hot water and ice cubes, which is perfect for preparing things from 7 Elven, which is not far away. There are also many restaurants and cafés near the hotel. The room is very small, which is very common for Tokyo. But that didn't bother us because at least the bathroom was quite large. Another positive thing to mention is that there are large windows in the room. The rooms are cleaned daily and there are free bathroom items in the lobby. Generally the room is very, very clean. The hotel has a roof terrace from which you have a great view of the Tokyo Tower.

Will return for a stay in this hotel as the room quality, cleanliness and location tick all the right boxes for us.However, cost performance ratio can be higher with adjustment in check-in and check-out timings (4pm check in, 10am check out), which results in a much shorter stay compared to other hotels.

Solo traveler for work and the prize of this hotel is its location.Be mindful that Japanese hotel rooms usually run small.Very comfortable bed and bedding. No noise.Amazing rainfall shower head and wand, and very spacious.Convenient location to three stations.Lots of food choices for lunch and dinner, and convenient stores open 24 hours.Tokyo Tower within walking distance.Very safe.Nice little lobby with a single washing machine, dryer, ice machine, atm machines, microwaves and vending machine. They don’t clean room everyday but that’s not really a necessity anymore.Friendly staff.Good value for the price considering this area is typically pricey hotels.

Close to train station, newer hotel. Room (I stayed 2 twin beds room) was just a size of beds plus bathroom, no place for big suitcases at all…but many of hotels in Japan are like that.Update (Sep. 2024). I used this hotel again, and stayed the same 2 twin room. Their room service shut down A/C when guests are out. Upon checking in, room was like saunas and A/C didn’t start, they had to fix it. (Then it was working great)Basically they have minimum service, no meal (but many restaurants and convenience stores nearby)The best part is VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION. Strait from Haneda Airport, close to train/subway station, there are many sightseeing places you can visit on foot. Though it’s a small room, price is reasonable, I will use this hotel again and again!

A nice hotel with good facilities and spacious rooms / bathrooms compared to normal. One of the staff at the front desk seemed to be in a bad mood, but otherwise all good! Close to coffee shops and the train station + monorail.
