This hotel seems medium sized compared to what’s out there in Japan.Do prepare for single ply paper as it might come as a bit of a surprise.Honestly, the location this hotel is in and for its price is incredible. Shibuya station is a 10 min walk, and we went there everyday. It’s really well connected to other parts of Tokyo through there and easy to navigate once you get the hang of it.Their service was really good, they helped us transport our 2 large suitcases from Tokyo to Kyoto for £36.They would come to clean the room whenever you ask them by leaving the sign outside and there’s always someone in the reception area.They also let us leave our suitcases in the lobby before our checking, as we got there around 9am and checking was at 2pm.You can kind of hear what’s going in other rooms if they’re being too loud, which unfortunately happened to us, but a good old tap on the wall sent the message.

TOBU Shibuya is a 5 minute walk from Shibuya Station, Shibuya Scramble, and Harajuku Station. Family Mart is particularly close, for those late night snack cravings 😀.My room was clean, the staff were friendly and extremely professional. I was able to get 2 cups of coffee at PRONTO. On my last night, I enjoyed a double cheese burger with an ice cold Asahi to wash it down from the in-house restaurant.There is a currency exchange machine in the lobby, a huge plus!!!!My only complaint is, I wish I could have stayed longer.I had a wonderful stay and I will definitely be back.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are quite small, which is common in Tokyo, but they’re functional and very clean.The location is fantastic—perfect for exploring Shibuya without being right in the middle of the busy crowds.There are several restaurants in the basement and nearby, plus a convenience store right next door, making it very convenient.While it’s not the cheapest option, the combination of great location, cleanliness, and helpful staff made it a good overall stay.

Decent pick for an end of your Japan trip hotel due to spacious rooms and location to station.Hotel staff was easy to work with. Ahead of check in and check out we inquired about holding our luggage and they accommodated us.You are paying for the location. It is convenient to get to the station and Yoyogi Park, and it is located close but far enough from the Shibuya Crossing where it is fairly quiet at night. However, the room walls are thin, so you the noise level depends on your neighbors.The rooms were spacious for Tokyo which allowed us to have two large suitcases and walking room. The room was perfect for us to repack our luggage for our trip home. The laundry room only has two washer and dryers for the entire hotel, so it was difficult to do laundry as we had to watch the countdown for one of the machines. It was convenient that detergent was included in the charge to complete a load.Fridge didn't get super cold so worried about any food we put in there and the bidet wasn't working properly.

Listen to the reviews. Location is good but other than that it's very standard and even subpar compared to other similarly priced hotels. The breakfast does not spark joy at all and we found a previous client dirty socks by the side of our bed.
