I was able to stay at this hotel at a very reasonable price as accommodation prices in Tokyo have skyrocketed.I was worried, but no one smelled like perfume and I was able to sleep soundly. However, it is not recommended for those who are very nervous. It is recommended to take a shower at a public bath rather than inside the hotel, as it will help you feel more refreshed.

This place really suffers. In addition to the fact that the capsules are stuffy, many of the public facilities are broken and no one has been seen to clean them. Especially the bathroom is a disaster. I would rather know what it is like inside. Spend more money to stay in an average hotel.

do yourself a favour and don’t come here whatever you do…. just had my first night and i’m distraught that i have to stay 3 more as I can’t get any of my money back. The whole place smells musty and damp, if you’re a girl please try and get the female only dorm as the mixed one (at least the one i’m in) is filled with old men (one of which is constantly hacking up/vomiting in the sink which is disgusting).Plug sockets are rendered useless as converter plugs won’t fit because of the stupid placement. Beds smell bad and the whole place is just dark.Bathrooms are clearly never cleaned, honestly the place should just close it’s really gross.Disappointing as it’s making me wish I could go home sooner when i’ve been really looking forward to this trip.

I have used capsules in Tokyo several times. This was my first time staying in a hostel that was so dirty. The building itself is old, but considering its size, there are no staff and it seems that it is not kept well.I went there because it was cheap and had a high score on Agoda, but I don't think I'll use it again.First of all, the shoes are not organized in the entrance hall, and the smell of shoes is full of smells. The capsule rooms do not have air conditioning and only have electric lights that cannot be adjusted. There is a power outlet for mobile phones etc. on the outside of the capsule. The bathroom is full of mold, the floor has never been cleaned, and even though there are toiletries, they are a mess.Other similar accommodationsWe put a lot of effort into beautifying the inside of the building, going out to clean it once every two hours...It's really dirty hereEspecially not recommended for womenThere is a difference of about 500 yen or 1000 yen between Doc, Nine Hours, and Kuramae Citan. We recommend paying a little more for a well-cleaned accommodation.

Stay for about 3500 yen per night. I think it's worth the price. The bed only has a light and an outlet near the pillow. There are 4 shower booths in the basement, but one of them had a broken door so there were actually 3 shower booths. It's free, but you have to insert a special coin to use it. Towels are available for a fee. It seems like most of them are foreigners staying for a long time. There's a mini-kitchen on the top floor, but it's probably the building's hot water supply room. There is a microwave in the common space on the first floor. The person in charge at the front desk is frank and speaks good Japanese. I had breakfast at nearby Matsuya.

PLEASE READThis review is negative but accurate. Only stay here as a last resort, rooms are very hot dirty and smelly beds are very hard and difficult to sleep well in. The toilets are left dirty, showers are located all the way in the basement and require coins so stop halfway through your shower. Also bathroom smells really badly of damp and mould, those with allergies or health concerns should strongly avoid. Everything needs to be rented, common area is a ghost town, broken TV, tiny kitchen with dirty/ broken utensils. Worst of all are the workers some of whom are ambivalent while others are at times malicious bordering on rude with no care for customer service there is little offered to make you feel at home, no suggestions of activities or places to visit, nothing to encourage socialising within the hostel.Good customer service covers a multitude of sins but if you treat people purely as cash grabs then it's only fair to be held accountable for the very poor quality of your hostel. Avoid if you can, the other hostel similarly priced hostels in the area are better.

„Economy“ Room is packed with beds and windows cant be opened, very bad air quality. A lot of things (shower, tumbler, washing machine) where broken and not replaced, the out of order sign even where so old they fell apart, the common room is lousy equipped and not made for people to meet there. All over also not clean at all, I never saw someone clean in my 5 days stay. You get what you pay for
