Very comfortable hostel with private rooms for a great price. I was cycle touring so thought it was a outdoorsy spot, but it’s more for show. Still enjoyed my stay. Comfortable rooms, outdoor area, free coffee and kind staff.

Kind of cool place, but feels like they didn’t quite nail the concept. Mind you, for the price it’s impressive. Too much fake timber and a lack of attention to detail, but some good points too. The bouldering wall is quite good, and the community kitchen is adequate. The lounge area has some nice camping furniture and free coffee, but the coffee machine has some issues... plenty of free parking, but it’s in need of paving. The room was tiny, and finished in standard Japanese fittings and wallpaper, with some fake timber wallpaper... the mattresses were a little thin and tired, and the sheets felt overused. Seems to me they are trying to cash in on the glamping trend, but were not prepared or able to fully follow through with the concept.

I've been in many hostels across Japan but the 364Base really stuck out. It's a mix out of an adventures shop and campsite. However, it still has all the luxuries and standards as all Japanese hostels. The communal living room is nicely furnished and really invites you to hang out and spend your evening. Overall this place has a welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to anyone stoping buy in Hamamatsu which btw has a nice Beach

Lovely inn to enjoy holidays. It has kitchen, common lounge, laundry (free washing machine but not free dryer and detergent), many options for entertainment. Nice staffs are only there from 9:30 to 22:00. Suitable for both long- and short-term stay.

Rooms and facilities were quite good. Place was very clean and polished. The visual vibe and theme of the place was aldo very unique. Only minor comment we have was that the desk wasn't manned early enough in the morning at about 830 when we were wanting to ask a question. The location is good, 4 minute walk to a konbini, about 5 min walk to the station, and most of all, very helpful and lovely staff(when they were present). Would easily stay there again whenever I'm in Hamamatsu.
