Pretty disappointed with this hotel.I will not recommend any international tourist to this hotel at all. You will leave with a bitter taste for your holiday.I wasn’t expecting a fantastic room as I read the reviews and prepared for an old building.Location: Nice sea front view. Up on a scary steep slope so make sure your car can handle that. Located on a quiet stretch of atami sea front road.Room & building: old, dusty and full of spider webs every where around the hotel. We came into a clean room with clean toilet. The room claimed to be non smoking but the cigarette smell was obvious and lingering no matter how we air the room.Worse of all, we came into the room and was told by the counter staffs that we have to do our own bed (tatami). Drag out from the cabinets and put on the sheet on our own. I was totally astonished as I have been to so many different hotels, resorts in Japan. None of them need the guests to do the bed on our own.The room came with a view.Dinner and breakfast: other than the free flow of drinks and alcohol, i really run out of good comments. The beef set consist of 5 pieces of beef and random vegetables. The buffet of side dishes are very very disappointing in variety and quality. I cannot believe I pay for $230 per pax!The breakfast continues the bad variety and quality from dinner. It’s just the management issue.

I made a reservation for my one night and two day trip to Atami. First of all, when you go from the station to the hotel, you have to climb a steep slope with an angle of about 60 degrees. We recommend that you arrange transportation in advance. The hotel atmosphere is like that of a business hotel, and the building is very old, and the structure looks like it was built in the Showa era and made the rooms needlessly large. The room is really big, but there's not much furniture, so it's really a useless room. If you have a large family or a large number of people, this is a room you can enjoy. It felt like each person laid out their own futon in the room. The windows were very dirty, there were stains on the futon, and there was mold on the walls, giving it a very old-fashioned impression. The drainage ditch had poor flow, and when something clogged it, it made a very loud sound, like hitting a wooden fish, so it was a bit scary. The luggage storage area in the public bath was quite old-fashioned, and there were two dead stink bugs in the bath that I didn't know where they had come from, which made me feel really bad. I think the children would be more pleased with the welcome service drinks if they put a little more effort into it.The popcorn at the reception had many flavors to choose from, but since the popcorn was cold, no matter how much you poured on it, it didn't have any flavor, so it wasn't really edible. I think you should consider improving it a little more.Overall, I thought the hotel was doing a great job. However, I think that there are a lot of things that are disappointing, so I think that if we can improve one thing at a time, it will become a better hotel.

I stayed here with 4 friends on October 6th. I didn't order dinner and my purpose was to stay the night, so I didn't really care about the facilities or food, but the service was not very good.1. They only give me one face towel: This is the first time I've been to a hotel that skimps on towels. There was no explanation about this when I checked in, and when I asked the front desk, "I'd like another one," the clerk made a big X with his arm and said, "No."2. You have to pull the futon yourself: This was also not explained to me at check-in, and they didn't do it even after I waited. When I asked them the next morning, they said, "That's the rule here."3. 7,000 yen for a day trip to a hot spring: A friend came to see us, and as he was leaving, he said, ``I'd like to take a hot spring too,'' so I asked, ``Is it possible to take a day trip to a hot spring?'' It's 7,000 yen.'' There will be a market price. I think you can get it for about 1,000 yen, but honestly I think it's strange to pay 7,000 yen for such an old bath. When I asked for a lower price, he said, "5,000 yen is fine." In the end, I paid 5,000 yen and joined them. It's a waste.4. The pricing is strange: I originally made a reservation for 40,500 yen for 3 people, but then I added another person. Then it changed to 55,600 yen. It's strange that the price per person is so high. The employees in general are not very energetic, and considering what happened above, I don't want to go there again.

The room was clean except for the windows! The windows were full of hand grime...I was disappointed in the view. I was supposed to be the first to go to the public bath after cleaning time, but there were lint and insects floating in the bathtub, so I couldn't use it...In the free space next to the front desk, the garbage on the table remained from the time I went until I checked out, so I had a hard time using it. It seems like the cleaning has not been done. The food was good, but the customer service was not great, just average.

I used it for the first time on a trip with my father. 2 nights. After arriving at Atami Station, I requested a shuttle. The transportation staff were prompt and drove well. From the moment I arrived, I felt uneasy because the place had an undeniably old-fashioned feel and the staff were all foreigners, but I was pleasantly surprised at how everyone explained and guided me without any problems. The happy hour from 3pm is amazing. Not only can you drink alcohol, but you can also enjoy oden, shumai, hot spring manju, and shaved ice. It’s great that you can also enjoy table tennis!Self-service was also plentiful. Pocari, fresh juice, coffee, and persimmon seeds were also available at night. For the meal, I could choose a main dish and there was a good variety of buffets, so I was full ♪ I had boiled sea bream and abalone on the first day, and hot pot on the second day. The boiled sea bream had a lot of bones, but the meat was tender, and the abalone was cooked fresh so it was juicy and delicious. The hotpot on the second day was also very satisfying. For breakfast, I tried a seafood bowl. It was fresh and delicious♪The room was spacious and relaxing! Our room had a balcony, so we were able to enjoy the night breeze.↓Places that interested me↓・It still feels old. . There are dirt and stains on the walls and shoji of your room, and gaps between the tatami mats where your cell phone could get stuck.・I was looking forward to going to the public bath, but the floor in the changing room was very uneven, and the view inside and from the public bath was not good, so I left right away. (I heard that there will be renovation work done. I'm looking forward to it.)・There were some things that were quite different from the photos on the homepage.・The view is certainly good since it sells itself as an ocean view, but it wasn't particularly good either.・There is an apartment building in front of you on the left, so if you don't use a shoji screen, you can see it completely. There were many families, couples, groups of girls, and solo guests. It was a place where you could enjoy yourself without any hesitation.
