Umi Hotel Annex offers a truly relaxing and serene experience. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful onsen overlooking the ocean — an absolutely stunning view that made for a peaceful and rejuvenating soak. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The location is excellent, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with amazing ocean views, especially from the onsen, this is the perfect place!

・The room is clean, but there is nothing. Unfortunately, the TV was too small.・There was a dead dragonfly in the private open-air changing room. I think it had been left alone for a long time because it was infested with ants. Also, since you can't see at night, we recommend going in the evening or first thing in the morning.・We had BBQ for dinner, but it was the worst. There were two scallops, but both had a lot of sand in them and were not edible. I don't know about the Kaiseki cuisine, but if you are going to go there, you should definitely avoid the BBQ.・Breakfast was delicious. To be honest, I felt it would be better to stay somewhere else if I was going to spend 20,000 yen per person.

I used it on a trip with my boyfriend. I made a reservation because it came up as a recommendation on TikTok and the rooms were very stylish. However, there were too many unfortunate things. First of all, I was able to use the private open-air bath twice, so I went in the last time of the night and the first time in the morning. There are two open-air baths, and the one I went to at night found a dead dragonfly in the bath, which made me feel a little bad. Also, the tissues and other trash used by the previous people were still there. I felt a little bad about it, but I thought it would be cleaned in the morning and it would be clean, but I was surprised to find that the trash from the previous day was still there, as was the bath mat and the women's bathtub. I thought there was nothing I could do about it during the last hours of the day, but I thought there was nothing I could do about it during the first hours of the morning. Also, for dinner, there were many things I couldn't eat, so I made a BBQ plan, but the scallops in their shells were covered in sand and weren't edible. When the scallops started to cook and the shells opened, the insides were pitch black. I asked the staff to wash it for me, but there was still a lot of sand inside, which made my enjoyable trip feel a bit negative. I thought that next time I would not stay at this hotel even though I had to pay 40,000 yen.The staff who checked in and the breakfast were good. There was also a convenience store nearby and a Don Quijote about 5 minutes away by car.If you are thinking of staying at this hotel, we recommend staying overnight.

I stayed for 1 night during Golden Week. The weather was nice on the 3rd floor, so we had a great view of the ocean from our room! The bath and toilet were of the same type, but there was a private open-air bath (with two washing areas in the bathroom), so I had no complaints. We recommend visiting in the evening. However, it seems like it can be seen by people in the sea (lol)Dinner and breakfast were also described as casual courses, but they were enough to satisfy a woman! It was delicious! Your attention was also wonderful. It's about 20-30 minutes away from Atami by train, but there's a Lawson nearby so it was pretty safe.I had a bit of a hard time with the instructions for pointing the remote control for the speakers installed in the room toward the speaker at the back of the bed, rather than by the window as stated in the manual. But when I listened to the music through the speakers, it was amazing to hear the sea and the atmosphere. To be more specific, I was a little worried about the dust from the hair dryer, and the TV was smaller than I expected, so I was a little sad that I couldn't connect YouTube or other external devices.
