I stayed here 7 years ago.It was a really nice inn, with the sound of a clear stream coming from the room, a large tree growing through the balcony, and a private open-air bath with a very atmospheric atmosphere. The food was delicious and I have fond memories.I got off the bus and went on foot, so I was a little tired, but once I arrived, my tiredness disappeared.I think I was able to go because I was transferred from Kobe to Kanagawa Prefecture.Even though I sometimes go to the west side of the Izu Peninsula from Kansai, I don't think I have a chance to go to the eastern peninsula, so this was also due to my transfer.Thank you for visiting us again.

It's expensive, but if you want to spend a quiet time, this is a good place. Please note that the location is at the end of a slope, so it is a little far from the city. There is an open-air bath in the room, but there is also a private bath in the annex. The private bath looks like a keyhole-shaped tumulus. I'm glad that small cans of beer and coffee milk are provided. It would be great if you could come in the fall.

Due to work commitments, we can only travel during the high season, but since it was our wedding anniversary, we went ahead and booked this inn because we were attracted by the description of it as a 4-star Michelin hotel.I have listed below what I liked about my stay and what I found interesting.・The room we stayed in had a semi-open-air bath with hot spring water instead of running water from the tap, and the entire room had been beautifully renovated.・The staff provided courteous customer service from check-in to check-out. All the staff I interacted with, including meals, were young and very considerate.・The meal was good. Not only the quality of the food, but also the wait staff's timing of serving and explanation of each dish made the ``meal'' even better. Those are the good points. There were a few things that caught my attention.・The meal time after check-in was from 20:00. I think it can't be helped by the facility to provide the food in a delicious condition, but I limited the amount of lunch I had and checked in at 3:15 p.m., thinking that ``delicious food was waiting for me.'' I was told that the earlier times were already occupied. In reality, the staff was attentive and called us a little earlier, but if it meant competing for time, it would have been better to choose on the website when making a reservation.・The room has been beautifully renovated, but as soon as I entered the room, it smelled like mold.I don't know if it's a structural issue such as the bathroom or a ventilation problem, but it bothers me every time I go in and out.・For the meal, there was no fillet steak, which was listed as an additional menu item, but it was a roast loin, which was not on the menu, and the bottled beer had run out of regular Japanese beer, so only Belgian beer was left.・The view from the room was disappointing. The room was clean, but there was sand and fallen leaves on the balcony even though there was no wind, and there were weeds sticking out of the wooden floor just outside the handrail. The reservation site said, "There are trees planted on the balcony. You can spend a relaxing time looking at the trees and listening to the sound of the murmuring of the river...''Although the other side of the river may be someone else's land, it is the view you can see from the lounge on the same river side and under the same conditions. It was different. The hydrangeas that were planted were not pruned after blooming, so although there were a few buds, most of them were withered, which was disappointing.・I'm too particular about the design of the room, and I'm worried about the tiers. Moreover, the steps have sharp edges. I didn't know that the bed had a downlight. My wife went to the bathroom at around 1am, so the light at the entrance was on, so she went there in the dim light, but when she went back to bed, she tripped on the step in front of the bed and fell down, hurting her toenail. I hit my shin and was in pain for the entire day. It seems that the late night response is outsourced to a security company, so I decided not to call the extension number as it would be an exaggeration. The toilet also has steps over 20cm high, so elderly people may need to be careful. The sentence was long because we had high expectations, but it was a good memory.

I stayed for one night starting August 11th during the Obon holiday. First stay. Since we were staying as a group of 2, we had a room right next to the open-air bath and a room after that. We went to see the room next door and found it to be better, but at first glance our room looked like it had been renovated, but the balcony looked like it hadn't been cleaned and there were two holes. There is one area at the foot of the chair and another area is a continuation of the outdoor bath. Even though it was old, I was shocked at how dirty it was. I would like to post photos if possible. What bothered me the most was the strange musty smell in our room that was characteristic of old buildings. The air conditioner had not been renewed, and the filter did not seem to have been cleaned, so there might have been a smell of cigarettes mixed in. I kept the window open because it hurt to breathe. Maybe our room hadn't been used for a long time. (My neighbor said that only the bathroom was smelly.) By the time I got home, my nose had gotten used to it, but when I got home and opened my suitcase to do laundry, I could smell the smell from that room. , it had soaked into my clothes. I've stayed at old inns before, but this is the first time I've stayed in a place this bad.The food didn't seem that great either. The dried fish in the morning was the most delicious.
