Mr. Handa's customer service on the day was excellent.They were polite and attentive to the children and made us feel comfortable. thank you very much.My wife was pregnant, but she took family photos of the steps, meals, and toasts, and I was grateful for her consideration of various things.◆Good points・As soon as I left the car, they came out and greeted me and took my luggage, which was very helpful as I was traveling with a child and had a lot of luggage.・Thank you for providing a kids menu. I can't believe it's free! It was luxurious. I felt sorry that my daughter woke up in a bad mood and couldn't eat at all. (Mr. Handa was quick-witted and brought me bread right away, which I ate heartily.)・There were plenty of toys for children so they could have fun in the room.・The surroundings were quiet and comfortable.・The bed was the most comfortable・The food was delicious, the colors were beautiful, and they even controlled the temperature of the tableware, so I was very satisfied.・The private bath (family bath) was spacious and comfortable! This hotel is operated by TKP, a major rental conference room operator. The hotel is a renovated former Shiseido resort and is located on a slope, so there are only long hallways and stairs, and there is no elevator. Therefore, it is not suitable for elderly people to stay overnight. The public bath is not bad with two types of spring water, but I am not happy with not being able to take a bath in the open-air bath in the morning. The food isn't bad, but the space is small and it doesn't feel like a leisurely dining atmosphere. I think the rooftop terrace is quite nice.

This hotel was lovely, they offered Kimono in the rooms, the evening meal was very traditional which I enjoyed trying although it may not be to the taste of everyone. The room was really quite large with two double beds and a good bathroom.The Onsen was clean and no other guests were using it when I attended, other people in our group also said the same thing. Others chose to use the private baths either because for privacy or because of their tattoos.The evening meal was a very traditional meal with lots of small dishes we could try, which included tempura vegetables, wagyu, tofu and raw fish.

Public transport in the city is limited and as it is a steep mountain, walking with suitcases is unfeasible. We arrived in the afternoon and there was no dinner because it was necessary to book in advance, but we didn't know that there would be no food at the hotel nor that it would be impossible to go to the city. Going down to the city to eat without a car is impossible and they don't have a shuttle service (only in the morning and if you book). There is no food at the hotel, even if you pay extra. There is no room service.

It's an inn run by amateurs that doesn't deserve to be called a hotel.Breakfast time is also given priority to foreign groups, so they are not allowed to choose an earlier time, and the breakfast is full of ready-made food and tastes bad.The location is bad, the rooms are minimal, and the hot springs are too hot.When I checked in, I heard an old man's laughter from the staff room behind the front desk, which was so loud that I felt uncomfortable. What's so funny about it that makes you laugh so loudly?However, I thought it was wonderful that there were two types of hot springs to bathe in, the special dinner, and the politeness of the staff who served customers.There are only stairs, so people with bad legs should be careful.

This is a small hotel located in a quiet hinterland, about 5 minutes by car from Gora Station. However, the entrance was difficult to find, and the taxi driver said, ``A lot of people get lost.''It was like an inner parlor. Fully booked in the morning, and until 6pm in the evening, but there is a free shuttle service, so it's a good option if you want to stay in peace, although it's a bit of a walk.

Nice room, spacious. Dinner was all right. Friendly staff the manages to overcome lack of English very well, with the help of a translator gadget. A bit rigid with rules, only time to get transfer to Gora station on check out day was 9-10AM. We wanted to enjoy the day a bit before leaving, but even 30 min later transfer was not possible. Could also not find email to hotel to book pick up on arrival, so we had to walk.

Bed was comfortable enough.Location is not convenient, and there was no response to our request for shuttle bus.Make sure you book it well in advance as they only take a few people every half hour until 10am.Private bath is an extra 3,300 Yen.They will not hold your bags at all after checkout. So you're left walking around Gora with suitcases on the day you depart.

The hotel is very isolated , yet is a short bus ride from Gora station . if you want to eat you have to go to Gora Station . The hotel has a restaurant but you have to make reservations 2 d in advance !!!It would be helpful if the hotel would send a notification about their dining reservation policy for you to either make a reservation in advance or eat in town .We arrived late in the evening , cold , wet & hungry & were told ,, no reservation, no dinner . Go to Gora !! “.Close to the bus station and has a shuttle bus to the train station when you leave .The staff is very polite but not too friendly .Everything is very, very clean , you are not allowed to wear shoes inside the hotel . At the entrance you take yourshoesn off & they provide a bag for your shoes .

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath at an old inn, but there was a hammock and a terrace, so I had a lot of fun. Since it is a natural hot spring, the bath was of course the best. You need to adjust the temperature because the water is drawn directly ⚠️ I think I went there about 3 times, including the large bath. It was so good! ! The women's bath has a ReFa hair dryer.Above all, all the staff were very kind and I had a really happy time. It's so obvious when choosing amenities. LOL During breakfast, rice, miso soup, etc. will be delivered to your seat. Breakfast is also delicious. I use beef in my curry, and my scrambled eggs.In addition, there is a shuttle service, and since it was the last time for the shuttle after check-out, the service took us to Sounzan = cu-mo Hakone. The little illuminations inside the hotel, the welcome drink, the rooftop terrace, the space with Jenga and manga, and other hospitality all made our stay a fulfilling one.It left an impression on me as a very good trip since the beginning of the year. If you come to Gora Station or Hakone, please come here! !

Honestly was fantastic, the staff were attentive, kind and overly accommodating.As a vegetarian I was super glad to see that they made me aware ahead of time that there wasn't any options for me. It made finding a place to eat in Gora much easier as I could do so ahead of time.The hotel has an old mountain vibe, with an updated décor, which is exactly what you want when you are on a mountain.My family and I had a blast here and will likely stay again.They even have some games for kids to play with.

This hotel I do not care for and will not come back even if it’s free! Not worth the money you pay for. Lack of customer service and manners. This explains why they make you pay in full when you book so they don’t have to provide service.It has no vegetarian meal options. Hotel refused to accommodate. Front desk guy was quite rude. Customer satisfaction is not their priority. Serving western style course meal instead of your traditional Japanese meal at a ryokan which is kind of weird.This hotel feels more like a school dormitory instead of a ryokan. Not very welcoming and dated.Very hard to get to that’s in middle of no where. There is absolutely nothing around, no stores and restaurants not even sidewalks. Taking walks is close to none. Very hilly and curvy.Roof Top Terrace is more like roof top storage. Junk furniture all over.I do not recommend this place!
