This is a wonderful hotel that has a feel of Japanese history while also incorporating modern conveniences. The guest room was a Japanese-style room and was very clean. At the end of the sliding door, there is a table and chairs that overlook the river.Personally, I was glad that the air conditioner was good and that I could feel the coolness and the gentle breeze.I don't like the dry air that comes with air conditioners, but I had a good time here.

The hotel itself has a sense of age, and the overall feeling is great. Although it is summer, I still went to the hot springs. There is nothing special about the hot springs. The best thing is the Kiso River outside the hotel. It is beautiful both day and night. At night, the Kiso River will There is a pelagic activity, and you can just walk to the river without making a reservation (the hotel staff came directly to the room to tell us, which is really considerate). It is really comfortable to enjoy the evening breeze from the river bank, and the service staff are also very kind. They are all very friendly. The only drawback is that it takes a short walk from Inuyama Castle and a short walk from the station to the hotel.

This is a hot spring inn that makes you feel the Showa era, for better or for worse. It's fine if you understand this before staying, but I don't think I would recommend it to young people these days. This is by no means a bad inn, but a nice, homely inn run by a small staff.·placeIt is a 10 minute walk from Meitetsu Inuyama Yuen Station. It is built on the Kiso River, and the scenery is beautiful. You can't see Inuyama Castle from your room, but you can see it if you go out on the sidewalk in front of the hotel.·mealIs good. It's a standard menu with a standard course, but I was left with a good impression that they had put a little extra effort into it.The final dessert was also good.·roomThere were 3 people in the 10 tatami Japanese style room, but it was spacious enough. It was well cleaned and comfortable. The toilet in the room is a simple toilet without hot water or heating. Some people may dislike this.I couldn't see Inuyama Castle from my room, but I could see the Kiso River and cormorant fishing at night.·hot springThere is an indoor bath and an outdoor bath, but it is a compact hot spring that can accommodate about 10 people. There are only three washrooms, so you will have to wait your turn.·otherThe next day, I was allowed to park my car there to tour Inuyama Castle.[Overall impressions]Remnants of the past when it was crowded with group visitors can be seen here and there. It may not be expensive, but wouldn't it be better to make it a little more compact and neat?I think the impression will change just by making unsightly things invisible.Inuyama is full of luxury hotels or business hotels, so I'd like you to take advantage of the fact that you can stay in a regular hotel and it's only a 10 minute walk to Inuyama Castle.supplementThere is only one vending machine in the hotel. There are no convenience stores nearby, so it's better to bring drinks to your room at night.

In a good sense, it's one step ahead of the rest, and I prefer these types of inns. The rooms are old-fashioned, but they are clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is not available in the room, but the employees are kind.Although the location is surrounded by one-way streets, I could see Inuyama Castle from the window and it was beautifully lit up.The open-air bath on the first floor has just the right temperature and is very slimy.

What I liked: Free parking, hot springs, location (within walking distance of the castle and castle town), delicious food, reasonable price, What I thought were bad: Toilets, no washlets, inside the building and room …

It is a pity that there is no toilet washlet. It's a shame that the women's open-air bath looks like a section of the parking lot. However, the room is spacious and has a refrigerator, so the cost performance is quite good unless you include meals.
