It would have been great if the room had a toilet, sink, and refrigerator. My room was on the second floor, so I had to go down to the first floor to wash my hands, brush my teeth, and use the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Also, the key...What, that key chain is too big! It's too heavy! I think I should do something about that keychain.Also...I came to change the room key because I had the wrong key, but...well, I was able to get into the room with that key! !That means all rooms have the same key, only the room names are different Σ('◉⌓◉')! What a surprise! There were bugs on the futon, but it can't be helped since this is a rural area. Not recommended for people who hate or are afraid of insects. The only good thing about it is that the food was delicious.

All the staff were nice. The young proprietress was very enthusiastic as she carried the children on her back and served the meals, and the young husband was also a very pleasant person. There was no washroom, toilet, indoor bath, or refrigerator in the room, so the space was just for dinner and sleeping. It was on the second floor, so I had to take the stairs several times. This area is quite a weak point. The bathroom was also quite small and I couldn't shake the impression that it wasn't very clean. However, the quality of the spring water was good.Although it was a very hot day, the air conditioner worked well and I was able to sleep soundly.Since I was staying with my cat, I wanted a plumbing fixture in the room.

This inn is quite close to Shirakawa-go by car.The room was 6 tatami mats long and the toilet was shared. However, the inn is pet-friendly and the food is delicious and very satisfying.Maybe it's a family business? The hostess was also cheerful, and her son's cooking was wonderful.I enjoyed both the taste and appearance, and it was very relaxing. This is a recommended inn where you'll want to stay again when traveling to Shirakawa-go.We are rooting for you!

A unique kind of Ryokan! You dive into the Japanese culture with a visit to a private onsen (tattoo friendly) and enjoy a colorful kaiseki dinner in the evening. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. We stayed for one night and the service was excellent. The accommodation provided everything we needed, like shampoo, hairdryer, towels, and coffee/tea in the room. There's also a water/juice dispenser in the hallway. You can enjoy different drinks with the kaiseki, which you pay for the next day. The breakfast was stunning and i loved every bite. I truly enjoyed my time there! It was simply amazing and unforgettable. A big thank you to the family for this wonderful experience and evening! Arigato gozaimasu 🙏❤️
