Very close to Takayama station. You can walk to the old town. The building is new and clean. There are many hotels around the station, but they all seem to be the same.Since it's near the station, there are many restaurants. The room also feels chic and relaxing. It's small, but I wonder if all the hotels around here are similar. The bath has a spacious washing area, and you can see the courtyard-like scenery from the bathtub. It feels nice. Even if you don't bring your own shampoo or toiletries, they all feel good. I thought it was just hot water, but there was a sign saying it was a hot spring. There were a lot of foreigners, but it was quiet and not crowded. It may have been quiet because I happened to be in the very back room, a little far away from the others, but I was lucky to have a room at the back because I could hear people talking in the hallway. There is a parking lot for the hotel, but there is a large municipal parking lot right next to it that is not paved but is very cheap. It was a hotel that I thought would be good for my next stay.

Worst hotel ever.We had been to more than 10 hotels in Japan (long honeymoon). This one is expensive compared to other hotels, but with no value for money. The parking is pretty expensive (1500 JPY/day). Bath tax although the bath close for renovation. No coffee machine in the hotel! The staff are not so helpful…Really recommend you to find another one.

Good location by the station. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Stylish interior. Clean and tidy, but otherwise impersonal. Opted for breakfast, which was disappointing. …

hotel around rooms and hotel in Takayama seemed to be designed for westerners. The rooms were spacious, the onsens accepted people who have tattoos. The hotel garments were a lovely two-piece set great for lounging around the hotel. The bed we slept in looked like a California or Alaskan king-size bed, but it was essentially two full/queen sized mattresses side by side, which were comfy and also spacious. I would stay at this hotel again and recommend to others!
