Stayed with no meals during the Takayama autumn festival.Rooms were big enough, laundry machine in the room is a big bonus, public bath was very nice and we have been to a few.Location is convenient, short 10 minute walk to the old town.Only downside is parking which is more expensive than most of the parking lots in the area, but the staff told us where to go.

Our room was on the small side but well laid out and comfortable. Breakfast was a good range of Japanese and western options.  …

Conveniently located right next to the station and is a 10 minute walk away from the Old Town area and Miyagawa Morning Market. There's a combination washer dryer in each room so you can do your laundry in the morning and come back in the evening to them dry. Breakfast was so-so. I wish they didn't add meat products to their vegetarian-seeming dishes. It's off-putting when their vegetable dishes have fish or chicken stock in them.
