Very nice place and in a great location. Excellent ryokan experience combined with the comfort of a hotel. Very helpful and welcoming staff, very present from the reception to check-out with a very convenient shuttle service to the station. They provide traditional clothes for the stay. The traditional dinner is highly recommended, very Japanese but also absolutely pleasant with a Western taste (also very available for vegetarian menu variations). Good breakfast although continental and western based (Japanese breakfast also available. Staying for more than one night is highly recommended to make the most of the onsen service.

It was a unique experience, but unfortunately the room did not meet expectations and was very old. We paid a very high price for staying at the hotel and were disappointed with the standard of the shower room which smelled unpleasant and in general with the old facilities of the hotel.

It's my first experience in a ryokan. I could say that the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very delicious and abundant and has helped us learn more about local food. However, it is not a luxurious place either and although I have not been to other onsems, I did not find it incredible. Although it is true that everything was very clean and well maintained and we had a great rest.
