My father and me visited this Ryokan and i need to say it was one of our best Ryokanexperience of our life. The ladies (which owns and run Toutaro) are so friendly and nice. The Service was perfect like the food (breakfast and dinner). In the afternoon we drunk Sake together with Ami-san and Kaori-san and some other guests. Together we did some "hanami" - that was nice.I will come back for sure and i can recommend this Ryokan for everyone.Greetings from doitsu - Ittekimasu!

Impressed with their service and food. Room was spacious and clean. They prepared hot water and green tea for us every day. Dipping in the hot spring bath was relaxing.

Nice place to rest. The place is a bit old fashioned but it is easy to get the taste of traditional accommodations. Room was very big and the bath was great!!! Japanese breakfast included

I booked and stayed on Rakuten Travel's weekday plan for one night and two meals (8,470 yen), and personally it was a big hit. Parking was free, no reservations needed, and the parking lot was spacious. The inside of the building from the front entrance was atmospheric, and there were hanging scrolls and crafts inside the building, making it a very relaxing space. The bath is open from 16:30 to 23:00 or 24:00 (sorry, Uruo Memoe😭).The size of the bath is limited to 3 people at a time, but if there are 3 people, the bath is large, and the hot water is perfect because it is made from Japanese cypress. It was. I especially recommend the food, this time we had tempura, sashimi, beef stew, pickles, and simmered bamboo shoots, all of which were delicious, but my favorite was the simmered bamboo shoots and the sake (there are a wide variety of sake, so it's irresistible for sake lovers) ✨) and rice, and it was so delicious that I didn't usually get a second helping, but I did. (I also drank too much sake.) The room was spacious and relaxing, with a refrigerator, TV, and kettle, and the kettle was already refilled with water, so it was nice to be able to drink hot tea right away. If you need coffee, there is a coffee server on the 1st floor and you can get it for free) Breakfast was delicious, but the price is above for weekdays! ! (It may sound boring, but they have a variety of Japanese sake, the baths are great, the interior of the building is atmospheric, relaxing, and the food is delicious) This is a long story, but I really highly recommend it..

I look forward to visiting Matsutake mushrooms every year. I was worried because I heard that matsutake and other mushrooms were slow to grow due to the hot weather this year. I was so moved by having the usual size grilled matsutake mushrooms, sushi, steamed rice in a clay pot, pie wraps, sukiyaki of Hida beef and matsutake mushrooms, tempura, matsutake rice, and so much that I could smell the matsutake mushrooms all over my body. I was very satisfied with having matsutake mushrooms for breakfast. I will definitely come back again next year.

I used it for sightseeing in Gifu with my family. The room was a Japanese-style room with an air conditioner and a refrigerator. The food is very delicious and satisfying. Also, the bath was not a hot spring, but it was a cypress bath and it felt nice. The kids loved it because it was reasonably priced and close to tourist spots.I want to use it again!

I stayed here more than a year ago while working on a friend's property in Iwama, Iwamura-cho, Ena City.I stayed on a business plan of 1 night and 2 meals. The tatami mats were new and the room was clean. The communal toilets and washrooms were also kept well-cleaned.The wooden bathtub was also very comfortable. The food was also satisfying.I also liked the free instant coffee. The parking lot is quite large, so I don't think it will be full. I think I will use it again.
