Most unique lodging experience for me and my wife. The rooms are tastefully decorated with ukiyo-e art works and all the equipments (bath, shower, toilet) are modern and top notch. And the washer and drier work like a charm. The towels are real clean. The host is helpful before and upon arrival. Would come to stay again. Highly recommended.

It used to be an ukiyo-e art museum, but now it is a lodging facility that is limited to one group per day.(I think many of the other reviews were from before it became a lodging facility)The ukiyo-e exhibits and interior design were wonderful, and there was also a 130-inch home theater, so everyone from children to adults could enjoy it.Accommodates up to 6 people. The store owner's explanation was very kind and thorough, which left a good impression.I will use them again and would like to introduce them.thank you very much.

Went there twice when it should have been open, but it was closed without any explanation on the door or on the internet. They also were not answering their phone or emails. Maybe this gallery does not exist anymore.. website says it is open, but it is wrong. Highly disappointed.

I was looking forward to seeing it in the guidebook, but it was closed even though it wasn't a regular holiday (´-ω-`)The website hadn't been updated and I didn't know why...

Somewhere you would wake by easily.Don't.This has the original print of the famous Japanese wave painting! The Great Wave Off Kanagawa.Worth the admission price alone.Yes there is Takayama! tucked down a backstreet. No photos due to the paintings on display.Worth the admission which is 800 yen per adult

Please take a look. It's the first printing and it's beautiful. There are some things you can't see inside.
