Very enjoyable stay in this hotel just before the Coronavirus pandemic really got going. Comfortable rooms in traditional Japanese style with spectacular views over the nearby lake. …

The Japanese room was a bit old but it was spacious. The hotel Onsen was very good especially the outdoor one. The room price included dinner and breakfast and both are very tasty. Since there was no restaurant nearby the hotel, suggest to order hotel dinner when making the booking. Overall, it was value for money!

Different style of hotel this one, very peaceful and quite remote situated on a lake. Food is excellent and the staff were very attentive. We had a traditional Japanese room as opposed to a western one so slept on mats on the floor. |Worth it for the view in the morning alone. Stunning.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel for just one night. The Hotel might be dated, but it offers the best view for the Ena Valley. The room was spacious. it is probably four times bigger than the usual Japanese rooms. The Onsen is perfect. Also, if you like gto take walk, the path to the Ena Valley next to the hotel is a MUST try.

I suspect that the average tourist is unlikely to come across this place. I came here while on a business tour that was organized by Japanese. …

Tatami bedding - It's one of the thing you have to experient if you are visiting Japan. My room is like the mini traditional Japanese house. Imagine Doraemon's. When I first walked in, there was no bed. …

Western or Japanese Tatami rooms are available This onsen is in a remote location up in the hills. WI-FI in lobby only. They have indoor and outdoor onsen pools. The outdoor onsen (rotenburo) has a magnificent view of the lake and Enakyo Valley.
