A simply excellent hotel! There is a really good restaurant right in front of the hotel, the rooms were Japanese style with western beds. We took the room with the onsen and it was really pampering. The staff is very friendly, the downside is that the staff does not know English well. The location is close to the station from which you can travel to most of the stations relevant to Mount Fuji and the routes around it. All in all we had a great time!

We only stayed for one night as a family and was a nice stay. The hot floor was nice and the onsen at our room. Location is very easy and the breakfast is over the top - book it with a breakfast. Nice sun rise and views with morning light. I would only complain that the AC did not really go on high mode at all. Stay was nice. Room was very clean. would stay there again. recommend. The drink at the bar while soaking your feet was a nice treat.

A fine traditional Japanese inn. Meals are served at set times, you have to sign up. There is no room service. You go to 7-11 or Lawson's for all the stuff you want to eat/drink in the room. …

If this is only 3.8 stars I really want to know what 5 stars gets you in japan.I've read the negative reviews and I must say my experience was the complete opposite. Lovely room. Exceptional service. Great food. Clean. They also helped me sort a shuttle to my next hotel and even showed me how to wear a Komodo correctly. Lovely staff all round.A truly amazing experience with my private open aired onsen.100% recommend

It was a really good hotel with amazing employees. Breakfast was really good and traditional. I could also use their hot bath alone in a private room for 45 minutes with amazing view. Their hot spring bath was also really good and pleasant.Rooms were big and had everything I needed. It's also close to the main hakone station.

Amazing stay, myself and girlfriend absolutely loved it. We paid £250+ for one night stay which was quite expensive in comparison to how much we paid for other hotels in Japan this trip. But it was super worth it. …

We booked the twin room with tatami area and a private onsen. It was over the top to say the least but we wanted to treat ourselves, and boy did it ever meet, if not exceed our expectations. …
