This is a top notch onsen. The room is nice, the onsen part is great and the food is delicious. All of the mentioned parts are done in a real traditional way that lets you feel the Japanese spirit.Be prepared with google maps or other navigation as it is not easy to find your way to it from the bus stop.

Although the accommodation was old, it was kept clean and well maintained. The hot spring water was really warm and nice, but the tide was a little disappointing. It would be nice to just pay a little more attention to management. They kindly explained things to us, and if you don't eat at the accommodation, you have to buy food from a nearby convenience store (within a 10-minute walk).Because it was uphill, it was a bit difficult to carry my luggage and check in. Please note that pickup is only available for luggage.

Booked this onsen hotel via Agoda with breakfast included. The breakfast served was traditional Japanese breakfast (rice, salmon, miso soup, appetisers, seaweed etc) and it was the best breakfast ever for those who wanted to experience traditional Japanese vibes. The shared bathroom was actually shared onsen bath. There is no separate bathroom. The hotel was few hundred meters away from nearest bus station (senkyoro-mae). After sun sets the road to hotel is quite dark with minimal lightings.Overall a good experience. The staffs are all friendly and can converse in english.
