Marquetry decorations and objects can be found throughout the hotel. Most of the lights are indirect, allowing you to spend a calm time. The semi-open-air hot spring bath is also exceptional, and you can enjoy the river and mountain views as well as the movement of birds. Lighted up at nightYou can enjoy a different atmosphere than in the morning or during the day. Recommended for those who do not want to sightsee in Hakone but want to spend a relaxing time at the hotel. The staff are very polite and I am very satisfied.

Great ryokan in Hakone - although some people may be put off by its slightly further location away from the main town center, I had no problems with it as I purposely chose this for its location as it’s next to the river and you do get very …

It's a relaxing place. The bath also has a river view, and the river is lit up at night, creating a calming atmosphere. The sauna was surprisingly nice as well.

It was my first time at Hoshino Resorts, so I went there with high expectations, but I was disappointed. On the first day, my disappointment turned to anger. It seems my expectations were too high.First of all, the interior decoration is cheap and boring. Especially the lobby reception is not interesting. The building itself is well made, but that's because the previous architect did the work. There are some Hoshino Resorts-like touches here and there, but they feel stale and boring. It feels like a resort hotel dreamed up by students. It's embarrassing that foreign tourists think that this simple and thin culture is Japanese culture. Also, the location is the worst. What about lunch for customers who don't come by car? I couldn't move due to the heavy rain and had no choice but to eat the Peyoung I bought just in case on my trip lolThis is a good accommodation if it is cheap. As long as it's cheap. For the same price, it's definitely better to stay at HR Hakone in Gora. The staff is young, sincere, and solid. However, there are no repeat orders. I probably won't stay at any other Hoshino resort.I learned a lot.

I stayed here a while ago.It was my first time visiting a star resort and I was looking forward to it. The lobby is calm and very beautiful. The view from the room was full of greenery and felt very close. However, since it's not that new, there were some disappointing parts here and there. For example, tatami. It feels old because it is scratched.I expected the food to be good, but it was average. It's embarrassing, but for the price. . That's the impression. Is the amount a little less? The taste was good though. The rice was served so elegantly that I wish they would have served it more. Although it was a semi-private room, the employees' eyes were very noticeable to me.When you're done with that, carry this! ! The timing was so bad that I couldn't concentrate on eating.Breakfast was wonderful. And hot springs. It wasn't very spacious, but the view behind the partition was amazing. But since it's mostly open air, I thought it might be cold in winter.Next time I stay at a star resort, I would like to go to Nikko area.

Prices are high. You can't get the satisfaction that's worth the price. The pricing seems too aggressive, even though it's in a prime location in Hakone and facing the river.roomAll rooms have river views. You can clearly see the Sukumo River. It's spacious, so there's plenty of room, but considering the price, I feel this is to be expected.Large bathThere is only one bathtub in the bathroom with no walls.Because the scenery is beautiful, it is called an open-air bath with a spectacular view. However, I think it would be more appropriate to describe it as an open-air bath rather than an open-air bath.dinnerIt looks beautiful and delicious. However, other than the use of parquet tableware, there is no local feel.Rather, compared to KAI Hakone, it's the same thing as other facilities that cost about half the price, so I'm disappointed.

It was a little disappointing. The building was old and there were some areas that were not kept well-maintained.The room is average, but it's old, so I gave it one star with a bath. The tatami mats were also quite old and worn out, giving it a cheap feeling. The site is located in the mountains, so there is no spacious garden. There's nothing special about this, so it might be a good place to stay if you want to spend a quiet and relaxing time in your room. This time, there was a family with children next door, and I was so worried about the noise that I was thinking of contacting the staff. The only baths available are a semi-open-air bath and a sauna, and men and women are rotated depending on the time of day. One bath is quite small. It is not suitable for those who want to enjoy various baths. Also, there is no beauty salon, only in-room massages, so this is also not suitable for those who want various treatments. The food was delicious, but average. As a Hoshino resort, it feels cheap. It's far from a resort, so don't have too high expectations.I hope you enjoy it.

The prices are high because they are treated as being at the top of the industry. However, the service is the same as other facilities, so I feel like it's more expensive because of the location in Hakone. All rooms have river views.Dinner is luxurious, but breakfast has a more local feel and gives you a feel of Hakone. The bathtub in the large public bath is small and has only one outdoor air bath.

A luxury hotel that looks like a 70's designer mansionThe youth of the staff gives a glimpse of Hoshino Resorts' management policy.I stayed in a room with a hot spring open-air bath. The room is dimly lit and the atmosphere is very nice, giving you a sense of the tranquility of the mountains. The hot springs in both the room and the large public bath are hot.The public bath is open and has no windows.Good in summer, but cold in winterThe meal is kaiseki cuisine. It's elaborate and tastes good. The young staff explained the dishes carefully and I was left with a good impression.Considering the price, the quality of the rooms, food, hot springs, and service at this hotel may be a given, but personally, this is a hotel I would like to visit again.

Unlike big hotels and inns, it is quiet and relaxing. We had our meals in a semi-private room and the food was delicious. In the semi-open-air bath, there is no partition between the showers next to each other, so the water from the person next to you will splash onto you, so be careful. There were some people from overseas who even took off their zori sandals that they wore inside the hotel to take off their clothes in the public baths, so staff members were assigned to make sure that foreign tourists would notice and that no one else would wear the same shoes they had taken off. I think it's okay.At other inns, staff put number tags on footwear and make sure that the person with the same number tag wears them when leaving, so I wish they would do that. The thing that bothered me the most was that people were bringing their pets to the restaurant. It's a private room so it won't disturb anyone, but if you hear their cries while you're eating, it will ruin the atmosphere, so if you're bringing your pet with you, we ask that you either eat it in your room or don't bring it with you to the restaurant. . I wonder about hygiene. It is said that it will be closed and renovated at the end of this month, so I look forward to the new KAI Hakone opening.
