It's like a hideout. There is no elevator, so it is not suitable for people who are not confident in their physical fitness.

The rooms are run down, but it's cheap, the food is delicious, and the service is good.A hotel directly managed by Benefit Station, a welfare service. If you or your family member's workplace has a contract with Benefit Station, you can stay there for about a 10% discount. When I checked in and went to the guest room, I noticed that the wallpaper was torn and looked like it hadn't been changed in decades, and the hanging scroll was still torn...I didn't think it was a ``spartan inn'' but rather ``not well-maintained.'' My first impression was "Inn".There were many malfunctions, such as the open-air bath that was too hot in the public bath, the water taps that were stuck due to inorganic deposits that made it impossible to change the temperature setting, and the ice machine in the lounge that was broken. However, the employees are warm, polite, and flexible, living up to the name of ``hospitality inn.'' I had applied for a gourmet plan when making the reservation, but in contrast to the rooms that made me nervous, the food was delicious and had a large selection. If the food is cheap, the food is delicious, and the employees are kind, I don't think it's a big deal if the facilities are a little run down. In the end, I was satisfied with my stay.

I stayed there on October 19th, and the room was as hot as a steam bath, and the built-in air conditioner could not be set to cool. Are you kidding?

This is an inn that would be more suitable for the word sanatorium than a hotel (it seems that it used to be a sanatorium).Meal times are fixed, and a phone call will be sent to your room when it's ready (not for those who don't want to have set meal times). Both evening and morning meals were delicious, with plenty of choice and surrounded by greenery. There is also an open-air bath. The room is a Japanese-style room. I had to lay out my own futon. I was a little unsatisfied, so next time if there is a Japanese-Western style room available, I would like to stay there again.Wifi is available (password posted at the front desk). This time I was traveling using the Hakone Free Pass, so I walked from Miyaginobashi bus stop, but the uphill slope was quite steep ^^;Also, there are a lot of trees and it's dark, so you might not want to walk on this road at night. .It may be easier to access by car.

Unfortunately, the dried horse mackerel for breakfast was cold. Both dinner and breakfast leave you feeling more full than you look.
