Japanese language only. Beautiful view and friendly staff. Very traditional/minimal/retro ryokan. Has three onsen bath rooms- male, female, and private family one (which has a lock). The kaiseki meals were delicious and very detailed.

Traveled to Hakone at the invitation of a customer. Transfer to Romance Car, Hakone Tozan Railway, Hakone Tozan Cable Car, visit Hakone Park, Hakone Sculpture Forest, and return to the hotel. Many of the guests are elderly couples, and I feel that they are enjoying Hakone in a quiet inn.The food was creative and appetizing, with colors and shapes in mind, and was fun to watch, and the food was delicious and the drinks went well. The hot springs come from their own source, and the view from the bathtub is spectacular, so you can soothe the fatigue of the day.In the morning, we had coffee in the lounge and fed the carp in the pond in the garden.Breakfast has a lot of items and I am very satisfied.

5 minutes walk from Ohiradai Station on the Hakone Tozan Railway.A private school inn located along National Route 1 along the Hakone Ekiden route. It is a fairly old facility, with three floors above ground and one floor underground, but there are no elevators or escalators. The house is well-maintained, and although it is old, it is clean. Both breakfast and dinner are Japanese cuisine. The kaiseki dinner dinner is both beautiful and delicious.Breakfast is a traditional Japanese breakfast with a choice of rice or porridge. The raw vegetables, hot spring eggs, dried golden sea bream, grated daikon radish, seasoned seaweed, etc. were all light and delicious. It was fun to be able to go out into the courtyard and feed the carp in the pond. The underground hot spring is clear and colorless, and has a temperature of around 42 degrees.Although there was no open-air bath and the bathhouse was not very large, the quality of the spring water was gentle on the skin and felt very pleasant. Also, the view from the lobby was nice with fresh greenery.

Hakone, day trip hot spring, little-known spot. Many people do not know this, but although it is a facility run by a private school corporation, the general public can also enter.hot springThe water flows directly from the source, which is rare in Hakone. The temperature of the source is around 65 degrees, so we add water, but we just run the water straight through, and we don't disinfect it with circulating chlorine. Just the right temperature, about 40.5 degrees to 41.5 degrees.Although it is a sulfate spring, it is not very thick and has a soft texture. It's unusually cheap for Hakone. 800 yen. Hours are from 12:00 to 15:00. If you enter at 15:00, you can take a bath until 16:00.The view from the bathroom is spectacular.Above all, the cleaning is very thorough, and the window glass is polished and polished as shown in the photo every time I go.I'm impressed. The floor of the changing room is also clean and not sticky.lobbyOnce you get up, you can relax on the sofa in the lobby while looking at the wonderful view.parkingIt's spacious and easy to park, but the entrance is just around the corner of the national highway, so if you accidentally drive past it, you need to be careful. When you come up from Yumoto, turn right and enter, but please be careful as it is a curve. While many inns often look down on day-trippers, we offer plenty of time, reasonable rates, a pleasant front desk, good cleaning, and best of all, the natural hot spring water, and comfortable sofas to sit on even after you get out of bed. , listen to classical background music while admiring the mountain scenery. As expected, it is an educational facility. This place is truly relaxing.Recommended! ^_^postscriptOctober 2023The drop-in bath has been canceled for a long time, and when I called again to confirm, I was told that it was still cancelled.Previously, it was said that the cancellation was due to the coronavirus, so is this still the reason for the cancellation? When I asked him, he said no. I don't know why, but it has been canceled and I don't know when it will restart. I felt that I was treated coldly, and I was disappointed in the way that Hakone inns usually treat day-trippers.Please feel free to respond to this precious blessing from God, whether it's a day trip or an overnight stay.Added October 2024When I stopped by to check if the bath was still open, I was told that it had reopened, and the female staff member was very courteous.I'm so happy. It seems that the bathing time has been changed from 13:00 to 15:00. Please be careful.

I wanted to go there because the hot springs and food were highly rated. I was lucky enough to make a reservation, so I really enjoyed it.The lobby was large with great views of the mountains through the circular windows and the coffee service was good.We could enjoy the mountain view from our Japanese-style room. The hot springs are fed directly from the source, and you can bathe all night long, making them irresistible for hot spring lovers. There was plenty of hot water and I was able to enjoy it slowly. There is no open-air bath, but there is a family bath, which you can use at any time without reservation if it is vacant. If you are traveling with children or require assistance, we think you can enjoy the hot springs with peace of mind by bringing your family together.I had high expectations for the food based on the high reviews, but it exceeded my expectations. It looked beautiful and everything was delicious. It was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it all.It was a wonderful inn with an abundance of nature, decorated with deer antlers collected from the garden. One thing I would like to ask is that I would like to take my elderly parents who have weak legs with me, so if you could install an elevator, I would definitely use them again.

Reasonable price for a ryokan in Hakone. The meals have been prepared in many ways and are satisfying and more than sufficient. The temperature of the hot spring was not very hot and was a bit unsatisfactory.

good points・The view of the mountains from the bathroom is beautiful・Both dinner and breakfast are satisfactory in quality and quantity.・About 5 minutes walk from Hakone Tozan Station・There is a liquor store nearby, making it easy to find drinks to drink in your room.Unfortunately・No EV facilities (hard for the elderly)・If possible, it would be good to have a room with a bed.・

The food and black ink amenities were great. The hot spring bath is separate from the family bath, making it easy to use. However, the room does not come with a unit bath, and the door is quite heavy. It's a little deep in the mountains and there are a lot of train connections (lol), but it's beautiful. I hope the car is good! ?

Close to Ohiradai Station, just a few minutes walk. All the staff are very friendly and the food is plentiful, both in quality and quantity. The seasoning is particularly good, and you can feel the chef's taste. The source water is around 65 degrees Celsius, so water is added to lower the temperature, but you can enjoy a luxurious hot spring with free-flowing water that is not circulated or filtered. It was a very nice stay.I visited in May and then again in August. This time I came to relax for two nights. As usual, the hot springs flow directly through the water, there is no smell of chlorine, and the food is plentiful. You can also enjoy alcohol at reasonable prices.Today is my third stay this year. As always, Chef Rendomari Miru's dishes are seasoned and seasoned wonderfully, and even the desserts are delicious and filling. The best things about this inn are the food, the baths, and the friendliness of the staff. Let's come again. This is my 4th stay this year. It was raining a little, so I entered the building early, but they let me in early because they had finished cleaning. This time as well, we have a number of elaborate hassun and dishes. Although there were no high-quality ingredients, the seasoning and cooking were excellent, and I was completely satisfied with both the quality and quantity. I hope to see you next year.
