This time I stayed in a Japanese-style room, and the futon and pillows were super comfortable! It might be number one of all time. I slept soundly. The Japanese-style room has also been renovated and is shiny and has a Japanese atmosphere.I felt so relaxed! The food was delicious with a wide variety of kaiseki, sashimi, and hot pot dishes. After all, when you think of Kyoto, you think of Japanese-style hotels that are relaxing.

I almost never give a neutral review but this is one. On the plus side the rooms are quite good clean and spacious. The public bath is great. Location is good, away from the hustle of the center but not far, and surrounded by excellent restaurants. But on the downside, the free breakfast is forgettable and the place has 0 charm. It looks more like a cheap modern Chinese hotel and despite the tatami has almost none of the charm that we found quite everywhere else on our trip though Japan. I'd recommend it only to families who look for a spacious room where their kids stay for free.

With one night and two meals included, you won't be able to finish the Kyoto Kaiseki Kifune, and the shabu-shabu is full of delicious meat! ️The hotel has been renovated and is extremely clean, and there is also a large public bath, so we enjoyed hotel life, and last but not least, we were able to see the Gozan Okuribi from our room, which was great. Thank you, Mr. Sugicho. My family also gave me my dad's stock!
