We spent 5 nights at the sequence KYOTO GOJO hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel, as a 4* facility, leaves a lot to be desired.+ nice design, elegant lobby+ well-thought-out check-in and check-out system+ hotel day from 17:00 to 14:00 - this is a plus for us, because we check in in the afternoon, and on the day of departure we do not have to rush in the morning.+ breakfast from 6:30 to 12:00+ sauna and onsen – nice, clean with a nice design- average service - not very flexible, artificially polite, they bow at the waist and smile because they were told to do so, but you get the impression that they want to get rid of the guest as quickly as possible. We ordered dinner, we are in the middle of eating, there are 30 minutes left until the restaurant closes, the impatience of the staff looking at us was already visible - when we leave, they brought the bill, expecting me to stop eating and immediately get up and go to pay them, when I protested and said that I would pay when I finish eating - this caused a distinct huff from the waiter. So I rate the service as very average - 3.- breakfast - a modest buffet, just a few things, humus, salad, scrambled eggs and one hot dish. Additionally, you can order one of 3 sets, but one day at 9:30 a.m. one of the sets was already sold out, another day around 9 a.m. I received an English breakfast with the comment that there was no sausage because it had run out. Moreover, when this modest buffet runs out of something, I had to ask the staff several times to replenish it, but they should rather observe and fill in the gaps themselves.- sauna and onsen (hot tub, because it is heated, ordinary water) - you cannot use both - the hotel allows rotation, women in the morning, men in the evening and vice versa. So if you come for one night and only stay in the hotel in the evening, you don't know what you'll get and what you'll be able to use.To sum up, we expect more from a 4* hotel.Overall rating 3.5Date of visit: 13-18/10/2024—The hedgehog says hello!FB | IG | YT >> expeditionsWithout practice

During my stay, I enjoyed several aspects of the hotel, such as the DJ and free drinks every night, along with the sauna and onsen facilities. The cleanliness of the place was definitely a plus. However, my experience was marred by the attitude of some staff members. I’ve always appreciated the renowned kindness and excellent customer service in Japanese culture, so I was surprised by the response I received. For example, while I was grateful that my parents were upgraded to a disabled access room, when I asked about changing my twin room to a larger bed, a staff member responded rather bluntly, "We are running a business, not a charity."While I understand there may have been a misunderstanding due to language barriers, the staff member's English was quite good. This was my first encounter with such a negative attitude in a hotel, which I found disappointing.Overall, while the hotel has its merits, I cannot recommend it based solely on the service I received.

🙂 Modern structure, spacious room, excellent cleanliness, convenient location, free drinks at aperitif time.🙃 Variety of main breakfast dishes could be improved.Self-service laundry service appreciated but could be improved in terms of quality and number of machines: there are only two washer-dryers, lacking in drying and with long waiting times.

Well located, beautiful and with a modern touch. The “bath” and “sauna” amenities are very comfortable (although the sauna is more of a Turkish bath and could be hotter), generally empty. The breakfast is decent, the buffet has a salad bar, bread and pasta.I would stay there again

breakfast:Each person can only order one main meal, no additional orders are allowed! But there are few types of buffet parts(In line with the dietary preferences of European and American people, but not Japanese-style)There is no espresso / cappuccino option for coffeeFortunately, I got it as a bonus as a guest, so I didn’t spend extra money, otherwise I would really regret it😡For breakfast, I highly recommend the Keio Hotel next door (even the price)Room:Clean, spacious, and everything is new.But the lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim, and the sink is designed next to the deskOverall, this hotel is only slightly better than the large bathhouse. But not the Japanese kind

I stayed alone and the room was almost black so the dust was very visible... If it wasn't visible, it wouldn't bother me, but since I see it for no reason, it feels that way. There are no disposable items. It's a good idea to reduce disposable products, but... I was very disappointed when I thought it would be there and didn't bring anything... ㅜㅜ Other than that, everything was good. The staff were friendly too.

It seems like she wants to advocate for a new style, but she tends to be a little clumsy and feels stressed out. It is probably best avoided by the average Japanese person who is used to traveling, and is aimed at young people or foreigners who don't care about the details. The mother plant is Mitsui Garden, so it is beautiful.・For some reason, during self-check-in, I was registered with the address I had before moving (the Rakuten Travel I booked had already been updated), so I had to rewrite all the information using a stylus. Therefore, it took more than 5 minutes to check in, and I felt stressed as soon as I arrived. If I had written it by hand and had the front desk staff retype it, it would have taken less than a minute.・The public bath is at its lowest level ever. There is a problem with the description because depending on the time of day, you may not be able to enter the bathtub and it will be a half-hearted sauna. There are no chairs in the washing area, only a shower booth. There's no place to store glasses or face wash, and it's not user-friendly and makes me feel uncomfortable. The changing room smelled bad, but the air purifier was turned off for some reason. No cotton swabs or lotions at all.For some reason, the refrigerator in the guest room is located near the window, far from the table, which is very inconvenient.I showered Marin from Eterna on her face.Although it is stylish, it does not offer much convenience or comfort. This is probably a failure for Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management.
