It's really a hotel with a great experience. Completely non-intrusive service, breakfast is hung at the door of the room according to the delivery time we requested every morning. The free breakfast is very generous. The location is great. The Kamogawa River, the soul of Kyoto, is right in front of the hotel. You can also enjoy the unparalleled view from the room. At this price point, this location really has no rivals. I hope there won’t be a price increase next year.

I was deeply attracted by the stunning beauty here. It feels a bit like an outdoor Taoyuan atmosphere. The hotel rooms are luxurious, and all the materials are of high quality. …

I booked Kamo Residences by accident. I rarely write reviews, but this time I really can’t help but give it a five-star recommendation.First of all, the location of the hotel is so wonderful, right at the entrance of Kamogawa Park. From the hotel room, you can clearly see the Kamogawa branching into two different rivers. Those jumping stones are a holy place for two-dimensional enthusiasts. The hotel's transportation is also very convenient. It takes 4 minutes to walk to the station. It is very fast to get to Fushimi Inari Shrine from here. If you go to Sanjo and Shijo, it only takes three stops, about 7-8 minutes. If you don't like the noise, it is recommended to visit the attractions near the hotel, such as Shimogamo Shrine, Ginkakuji Temple, Royal Garden and Shimogamo Shrine, which are all worth seeing.Originally we only planned to stay in Kyoto for three days, but after we settled in, we didn’t want to leave at all. Finally, I canceled my stay in Osaka and stayed in Kyoto for a full week. Enjoy the slow life and slow pace, and slowly establish our unique connection with this ancient city.Sometimes I sit in silence by the river, sometimes I walk among the crowds, sometimes I wander around various temples, immersed in the beauty of Tang-style ancient buildings. It really feels like traveling through time.Special thanks to Kamo Residences for giving us a lovely long vacation. The exquisite free breakfast every morning made us feel their intentions. There are different tastes every day, making our trip to Kyoto more colorful. This experience is truly unforgettable and I will definitely come back if I have the chance!

It was the perfect place to unwind and recharge after exploring the sights in Kyoto.I was particularly impressed with their dedicated service team, who went above and beyond to meet our needs. They assisted with restaurant bookings and provided invaluable recommendations for exploring Kyoto.I'm already looking forward to our next stay. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

The hotel is very luxurious and comfortable, but since II didn't confirm my travel dates in advance and found out when I arrived at the hotel that the booked dates were wrong. This was entirely my fault, but the hotel was a little slow in handling the issue, which resulted in me waiting in the lobby for a longer period of time.

The sun is scorching hot in Kyoto in summer. I chose Kamo Residences, a boutique hotel located on the banks of Kamogawa River, which is quiet and elegant. It was here that I spent a rare "slow time" in recent years.Every morning, I wake up naturally to the sunlight that shines through the curtains. Habit becomes natural, I jog five kilometers along the river. It's a great start to the day. After your run, return to your hotel and enjoy the free breakfast provided by the hotel. A cup of espresso, a breakfast facing the flowing Kamogawa River, and that quiet time alone with myself are all my favorites.During the day, I often sit on the sofa in my room and read without anyone disturbing me. The phone is muted, only me and the stories in the book are with me. From morning to night, immerse yourself in the world of books. When the afterglow of the setting sun dissipated, I took the stereo in the room and drank the free liquor provided in the small bar. I went to the rooftop alone, watched the eagles soaring in the sky, and heard the laughter of children playing by the river. Some students were rehearsing dances in a group, some were playing flutes, some were catching fish, and some students were setting off fireworks... At this moment, I seemed to be a bystander, enjoying the fireworks on earth in this paradise. There is a high-tech open kitchen in the room. You can go to the market next to the hotel to buy the freshest vegetables and fruits and make a simple meal. You can also go to a convenience store to buy a variety of delicious food, then heat it in the microwave when you return to the hotel, and you can put a sumptuous meal on the table. What makes me most satisfied is that the room is equipped with a washing machine, which is really convenient for me who has been traveling for a long time.Thank you to all the enthusiastic staff. Your careful care this week added color to my "slow life" in Kyoto.

We checked in via WhatsApp Business while we were on the train. Their driver picked us up and stood by while we had our quick suite intro and got ready.Beautiful restaurant reservations throughout, all top Michelin Restaurants. The first night was Doppo, nearby and by the river, with outstanding attention to detail and customized courses. On the second and third nights, we had Kaiseki and Sushi. Both were on our list before, but we needed help finding a table. So, the concierge has some special powers. We wanted to eat there as our friends in Japan recommended, and it was everything we hoped for.Our suites were less like hotel suites and more like luxury apartments with unbelievable details—high-end tech in the suites with smart home voice control. The beds were very comfy, and the dining area, kitchen, and living room featured sofas and sofa chairs to chill. The Complimentary minibar has outstanding wines and snacks. I ordered a bottle of 18-year-old Macallan, with our Wagyu Sandwiches delivery which came from their restaurant. We tried the same restaurant to eat in, and they made a custom menu for us. It was an Elevated taste! So, all around, very happy and seamless. The manager told us they have smaller properties, like boutiques and townhouses, with more attention to detail for the high-end market. Noteworthy was the effortlessness once we arrived. They made sure we had a soft landing from the start.

This hotel offers bold service, distinctive design, and exceptional amenities. We stayed for five nights, and the staff's attention was extraordinary. They planned and arranged everything: exquisite dining, a tour guide, a Mercedes S-Class + driver, train tickets, and airport pickup. High grade service and down to earth attitude.
