I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and had some hot water. An old Japanese-style building with both the exterior and interior. Kamaburo was located in the changing room, and you would wash your body in the bathroom before returning to enter. At Kamaburo, it was just warm at first, but after about 10 minutes I started to get hot and sweaty. It's like a bedrock bath with a Showa era atmosphere. The water in the bathtub doesn't seem to be hot spring, but there are floating substances like hot spring flowers. I enjoyed the private bath, imagining that it was probably water from the river right in front of me, mixed with fine tree bark.
