I stayed here while doing disaster volunteer work after the Noto earthquake. It was very well equipped and I felt relaxed.

Stayed for 2 consecutive nights in a 4-person room with my family in August 2022.10,500 yen per night is an absolute bargain.By the way, it costs 3100 yen per night for one adult! !Prices are comparable to overseas backpackers. If you think of it as a dormitory, it might be fun to share a room.●ReservationIn order to arrange night management staff, reservations must be made 5 days in advance. In principle, walk-in accommodation is not possible. If there are guests staying overnight, it is possible to stay on a walk-in basis, but it is almost impossible to book a walk-in stay on weekdays.●In-house shoesI have slippers, but they make a clicking sound. If your feet are wet, they will stick together and feel uncomfortable. It may be a good idea to bring your own shoes.●RoomIt's a bunk bed. It's comfortable and equipped with Wi-Fi.The air conditioner in the room is powerful.Since the school is now closed, there is no air conditioning in the loca.Due to the recent heatwave, there is a huge difference in temperature and humidity when you go out into the hallway from indoors. The quadruple room is on the second floor.●BathroomThere are restrictions on usage time.7:00-9:0018:30-22:30When swimming in the sea, it is best to return to the facility during times when showers are available.By the way, the nearby Konoura Marine Park is not a beach, so please be aware that there are no lifeguards. That said, quite a few people were swimming in the sea. At my house too.●ToiletIt is shared by men and women. Has a washlet. There is also a multipurpose toilet on the first floor.●Cooking room and dining roomIt's just like the home economics room. All cooking utensils are provided as long as you bring your own ingredients. If you need special equipment, please bring it with you. When I was about to buy a knife to cut down a 55cm red sea bream that I happened to catch, the staff on duty went back to my house, retrieved a knife, and lent it to me. Thank you very much for that section. I am very grateful. There is only one large refrigerator for household use, so there may not be enough storage capacity when a large number of people are staying. There were also seasonings and alcohol left behind by our ancestors (lol). It might be okay without seasoning.●BBQ is also possibleYou can rent a nostalgic desk. The chair is a pipe chair. The event was held at the front door. You can also rent a BBQ stove.I brought the stove in the image.●PurchasingIf you go to Iida, which is about 10km one way by going over the mountains on Prefectural Route 52, you will find a supermarket and drug store. There are also supermarkets such as Daimaru, Shopping Plaza Seaside, and Musashi Home Center.Because it is close to the port, fresh seafood is sold at exceptional prices.Since it is Sogen's home, even though it is a supermarket, it has a wide selection of sake.-Many insectsDue to the location, there are a lot of insects. It may be difficult for people who hate insects. Please be especially careful as there are a lot of Ororo. The sting hurts, sucks blood, and is itchy.●For anglersIt is possible to go out before dawn. Please notify the staff in advance. It would be a good idea to blow away fish scales from your fishing spot. Please note that reservations are required at least 5 days in advance. The facility is managed and operated by local residents, so you can use it at an exceptional price. Please strictly abide by the hotel rules during your stay.I'm jealous of people who can telework in such a wonderful place (lol)I have omitted the parts that overlap with other evaluations. As a side note, when I was swimming in the sea at Konoura Marine Park, a police officer came on patrol and warned me, ``Please be careful as the tide is particularly fast this year (2022).'' The European and American people who were swimming in the sea? It seems that he was telling the same story in fluent English. As expected, Suzu was the site of the International Art Festival.

I don't know if it was an exhibit at the Oku-Noto International Art Festival or the real thing, but there was a whale fossil on the grounds.
