Auberge on top of the hill in Abashiri. French at night, Japanese in the morning. Dishes centered around ingredients from eastern Hokkaido. The bath is not a hot spring, but it is open-air and relaxing. Many wild birds and squirrels visit the terrace. Perfect for getting away from the heat in eastern Hokkaido, where it's cool even in the summer.

I reserved two rooms with an open-air bath. The rooms are non-smoking, but there is an ashtray on the balcony where you can smoke. Moreover, these two rooms were very good because there were no adjoining rooms at a dead end, so no one would come in the direction of these rooms. The public bath was on the 1st basement floor and there were only stairs, so it was difficult for someone like me who has bad legs...However, the hot water is thick and makes your skin smooth. To go to the open-air bath, I put on the bathrobe provided in the large public bath and went further inside...This mysterious space... somehow... it's empty...I had a room with an open-air bath, but I was disappointed that the room was not a hot spring...Other hotels have hot springs, so I go in many times, but this time I didn't even take a bath in the open-air bath in the guest room.I spent a lot of money to get a room with an open-air bath, but it's not a hot spring...that's not true...If the open-air bath in the room was also a hot spring, it would be 5 stars, but unfortunately...I was very satisfied with the meal!Almost everything on display is merchandise. I'm selling it.But I came to Abashiri! I wish I could buy a souvenir like that...I would like to have some sweets left.

I used it on a family trip. First of all, the staff's response is wonderful. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted pleasantly, and even when I had a rough time during my meal, they were very considerate. Also, both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The sea urchin and carrot mousse was especially great! I want to eat it again. When I told them there was something on the menu that my family couldn't eat, they happily prepared something else. Also, the Hokkaido dog puppies were so cute that the whole family was soothed. friendly! !This is an inn I would like to visit again someday.

An inn with a nice atmosphere in the style of an old northern country house. The exterior of the building is more old-fashioned than modern, but I think the interior is very well maintained. There is a wide variety of dishes, from seafood to meat, and they are all delicious, with a wide variety of small quantities. I'm satisfied that I was able to enjoy various things 😋The hot springs were also colorless and transparent natural hot springs, and the water quality was very good. It was a wonderful vacation.
