I had a great time at Totonou place!I arrived to stay 2 nights and ended up staying for a whole week.The owners Ryu and Chi make you feel like at home. Joining you for activities like hikes and BBQ on the bonfire.I fully recommend this place for a pleasant, calm and comfy stay!Don’t miss it!!!

I don't usually write reviews, but I hope this will be of some help.I used it when I traveled by motorcycle.The room was well-cleaned and there were no complaints regarding its use. The owner was kind and told us about sightseeing spots unique to the locals.Is there something good about people who ride bikes? ?I was healed by the location where I could see the stars at night.Thank you again for taking the time to share your personal story with me! lolThank you very much for your help, I would like to try Hokkaido in winter next time.Please use us again when you come to Hokkaido!

Nice location if you have a car and want to go hiking to mount Asahidake. The accomodation & facilities are very basic but the owner is super friendly.

Nice place to stay around! You can easily get to nice places around by train or rent a car next door at a car rental (5k¥ a day). Really nice atmosphere and the owners are super friendly and helpful! The cheapest beds are not fancy but comfortable and a good option for low budget travels.

BEST MUSIC SELECTOR EVERRR!!!!But seriously, I booked for a day and stayed for a week. It was total family vibes with the other guests and Ryu and Chiharu were so awesome and helpful and provided some of the best atmosphere of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. I’m so happy I chose to stay here and in one week have made memories and friends that will last a lifetime ☺️

Place close to a train station, next to a road, with terrace for your BBQ, quite big kitchen and sitting area. They rent out bicycles, scooter and more. Very lovely and helpful people.

The next morning, I talked to the owner about whether I could rent a motor bike or stay one more day, and promised to come by 8 a.m. the next morning. However, I didn't come past 8 a.m., so I had no choice but to go to Biei Station and rent a bicycle to get around. If I had gone early, I would have stayed at Biei Station. I was able to take a tour car that departed in the morning from the information center, but don't Japanese people keep their promises?
