I stayed here while on a bike tour.As the name suggests, the building is a renovated public bathhouse, so the cafe has seats that are just like the bathtubs.The staff are very helpful.There are many restaurants nearby so you don't have to worry about eating.When I went to a sushi restaurant for dinner, a local lady asked me where I was from, and when I answered, ``Tokyo,'' she treated me to some sushi rolls.By the way, I am an old man in my 70s.

I stayed in a private room.You can lock both the inside and outside locks (some reviews say that you can't lock the outside lock, but there is a key for locking the outside lock in the room), and the futon is fluffy. Fully air conditioned.It's small, but there's also a TV.Since it's new, the inside of the hotel is clean and I felt very comfortable.The bread sold in the common space is delicious, so I recommend it.

I had a wonderful stay at this welcoming hostel in Yokuma, where I felt very at home… It really is a little community unto itself that welcomes you in when you come to stay here. Sumi treated me like an old friend and there was even a convenient place to safely park my bicycle overnight.🙏🏼Room is decorated in traditional Japanese style and has a comfortable bed. It’s quiet at night, too. Great location and you can walk everywhere. 7-Eleven right around the corner for simple shopping needs, and also a great little coffee shop—with a piano! I would stay here again anytime. Thanks again for a great stay!

Sento guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay. The communal areas are kept clean and tidy and cleaned regularly. The co-working space and kitchen are fully equipped and there is a lovely garden area. The futon beds were super comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring Yakumo which has lots of great restaurants, cafes and onsens. If you are lucky to be around during the monthly food market, there is delicious local fresh food available for a great price. On other days there is an unmanned vegetable stall. Would definitely recommend staying here and stopping by Yakumo.
