Fantastic luxury hotel for a great value price on a Friday night. From the moment you walk in you can tell that this is a way nicer hotel than normal. The staff and concierge were extremely friendly and helpful and the luggage staff brought all of our luggage to our room unprompted. The double twin room was the largest and nicest we stayed in across Tokyo, Tohoku, and Hokkaido within the same price range. We only stayed one night, but would stay again if we were in Sapporo longer and the rates were the same. Easy access to Pole Town right out the side door.

The room is quite large and there are sofas and chairs. The bathroom is relatively old and there is no dry and wet separation. The building structure and furniture are slightly old, but retain a classical atmosphere. After all, it was the hotel where Emperor Showa stayed in 1954. Even the wifi password is set with historical dates related to the hotel... Wow... OK, I remember it. However, the entire hotel has been renovated, and the atmosphere in the lobby and corridors is majestic. It is very close to the convenience store. There is Starbucks coffee on the first floor, and there is a Gongcha hand-cranked beverage shop next to it. It is convenient and convenient. Sapporo Station is also only a 5-minute walk away. The breakfast buffet is very luxurious, especially there is a cabinet dedicated to boiling ohm eggs, you can add your own toppings, the taste is amazing.

Since 1992, I have been staying in Sapporo at the Sapporo Grand Hotel, a guesthouse in the north, and this time I stayed for a short time. I nostalgically enjoyed the leaflets and posters of the Sapporo Grand Hotel that were being held at the gallery. My wife had an accident where she was showered with champagne at the first Chinese restaurant, Yellow Tsuru, but I was impressed by the service.More than anything, the Sapporo Miso Ramen I was able to enjoy a kaiseki meal at the Japanese restaurant "Kanraku" on the 40th anniversary of my marriage, and it reminded me of the time I enjoyed a meal with my late father at the Japanese restaurant before it was renovated. We look forward to continued warm hospitality in the future.

Good value and service, but the room are dated if you stay in the main building. However it's kept very clean despite the age of the room. The breakfast buffet are generally good. The Japanese breakfast Waruku was a highlight, beautifully done.

Great hotel. It's not suitable for people who are looking for something new, but people who cherish and use things for a long time will appreciate it.The location is convenient as it is located slightly closer to Fuda Station and the main street. But it's quiet at night. This time I chose a slightly different room.
