I stayed there with my dog. The dog run is spacious and the dogs are very happy. The dishes are very delicious, with a large selection and detailed explanations. You can feel the hard work of the young proprietress. Zao's hot springs are quite hot, so be sure to fill your bath with water before entering. I regret that I didn't try the three types of Japanese sake, so I would like to stay again.

I posted this to the Yamagata Prefecture Tourism and Products Association, which is the contact point for inquiries.Thank you for your understanding.If you are considering staying here in the future, if you read my review of the Yamagata Prefecture Tourism and Products Association, you will see how this inn has neglected its negligent response and treated me as a unilateral complainer. good pointsAll the dishes were delicious.Although the temperature of the hot springs is high, we were able to enjoy the quality of the water that can only be found at the source.The short-haired woman at dinner was the best.Bad placeWhen I arrived at the inn, I started carrying my luggage because I had a lot of luggage, but the young landlady quickly closed the front door even though I was still halfway there. It is difficult to open the door while holding luggage in both hands. I mentioned that the heating was on, but I wonder if you can't put up with it at least while loading and unloading your luggage.When I went to my room, I found an uncollected cup on the futon.There is no spare toilet paper in the room.The water server on the third floor next to the lobby was not refilled every time. The trash can next to the free drinks is overflowing.Bathroom amenities are not replenished.If you try to order alcohol to accompany your meal, you will often be told that it is out of stock.What I hated most was that while I was eating breakfast, someone came into my room without my permission and pulled up my futon. There was already a paper with the price written on the used futon in the closet, so I wondered what the futon was supposed to be, since I hadn't checked out yet. It's very creepy to enter someone without permission or advance notice. I think it should be improved.I didn't really feel any hospitality other than the short-haired woman at dinner.

The service is extremely poor. It is recommended that you have a wonderful trip and don't be discouraged. Please don't stay here. The service attitude is poor and the food is not fresh. It is the worst hotel.

I was very satisfied with the location of the inn, the hot springs, and the feel of the room. The food was delicious, and the hostess and staff's customer service was very good.However, there was one thing that bothered me. Breakfast was early at 7:30, so I thought I'd take another nap after breakfast, but the futon had been removed. I think they did it out of a service mindset, but I wish they would have at least said something about coming in and cleaning the room during breakfast or at check-in. Also, since it was so cold that it was snowing, I had set the heating at 27 degrees, but when I returned to the room, it was 23 degrees, which made me feel cold.This wasn't confirmed on my part, but the dinner was boiled sweet potatoes instead of the meat shown in the photo (I overlooked the fact that the description stated that meat was not included). It was very delicious, so I was satisfied with the result, but I was a little disappointed because the meat was one of the deciding factors for my reservation.

It was a great place to stay with your dog❗The breakfast and dinner meals were delicious, and the customer service was very kind.However, there is nothing we can do about it due to the season, but if you are not good at stink bugs, the fall foliage season may be tough for you😅I have a suggestion, but if you leave some duct tape in your room, you can eliminate it easily☺️Also, it would be great if we could shorten the time it takes for the alcohol to come out! ️You can drink delicious local sake, and it was great for someone like me who loves hot hot springs.I'll visit you again if I have a chance 👍

First of all, people who don't like something should not stay here.There was a person who couldn't eat meat, and when I wanted to make a change, I received a phone call and was told that they could only respond over the phone, and that I would have to pay the difference in price.They seem to be able to accommodate allergies, butIt's not because they don't like food, but because there are people who can't eat because of various reasons, so I was very disappointed by such a one-sided response.I thought about canceling, but I was told that there would be a 50% cancellation fee because it was 3 days ago, even though less than an hour had passed.After that, one of the people I was planning to stay with contracted the coronavirus, so I called to say I wanted to cancel, but I was told that I would have to transfer 24,750 yen if I didn't change the date. It seems that everyone is treated the same way. I think it would cost less if you didn't cancel even if you contracted the coronavirus.While my child was making a lot of noise on the phone, I was given my account number and asked to transfer a cancellation fee of 24,750 yen.I had no choice but to cancel this time, but it seemed like I wouldn't be able to spend a relaxing time as a result, so canceling was the right decision.
