We stayed on a Saturday at the end of August. The atmosphere is modest and run by a married couple. The location is on the Karakuwa Peninsula.First-time visitors may be surprised as there is a steep slope down from the entrance to the building. The guest rooms are on the second floor, the communal toilet is on the second floor, and the bath and dining room are on the first floor. For meals, I booked the senior plan, which emphasizes the number of items rather than the quantity. The quantity is just right, and each dish is clearly made with care.It was very delicious. In the morning, rice cooked in a pot was served.Although it's by the sea, the guesthouse is located in the mountains, so you can't see the ocean right in front of you, but it has a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, and it's a guesthouse that we'll definitely visit again.

This is a guesthouse located a little way up a mountain pass, and the room was a tatami room in a large traditional private house. This time I stayed on the first floor, but there seemed to be rooms on the second floor as well. I was able to spend a relaxing time in a quiet location, and above all, the food was really delicious and plentiful, including locally caught seafood sashimi, grilled dishes, and hot pot. I think it's run by a family, but they were very polite and pleasant, and I had a pleasant time there.

The road leading to the guest house was so steep that when I saw it going downhill, I suddenly felt anxious. However, the landlords who welcomed us were as relieved as if they had come back to their parents' home. The room was prepared with 2 8 tatami mats and was spacious and relaxing. The bath was spacious and the size of a family bath, and I was able to warm myself to the core in the seasonal yuzu bath.I will upload photos of dinner and breakfast (white rice cooked in a pot). It was very delicious. It's been a while since I stayed at a guesthouse, and the hospitality was very good, which was different from hotels and inns.

The room and food were very good. The room is a little old but clean, spacious and comfortable. It looked like an inn rather than a guesthouse. In addition, the owner has taken great care with things like heating and humidifiers. The meals are all delicious, with fresh fish and each item being carefully prepared. Like a restaurant. I would like to thank the owner for his thoughtfulness in coming to pick me up from Kesennuma Station.

The food was very delicious and it was the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at!The room was spacious and comfortable!Dinner is full of sashimi, swordfish, and other seafood! In the morning, I fell in love at first sight with the pot-cooked rice, and it was amazing! When I go to Kesennuma, I will stay there again!

It has the appearance of a typical "minshuku", but dinner is a parade of seafood. It was so big that I could barely finish it even if I skipped lunch. Since the husband owns a boat, he seems to have to procure some of the ingredients himself.
