Unfortunately, it will be closed on October 14, 2024. On my last day, I stayed at this hotel, which I have visited many times, to make memories. The following was written six years ago.For 15 years, I have stayed here at least once a year. The bath is flowing directly from the source. Since it's the source itself, the bath tub and walls are covered in acid and turned black. It is renewed every few years, but it turns black after a few months, so don't worry about it. The food is also great. Yamagata beef shabu-shabu, Genghis Khan, etc. There are also a wide variety of wild vegetable dishes available. The master of the inn is a qualified mountain instructor, and if you let us know in advance, he will take you on a walk through the mountains of Zao. There is also an imoni party in autumn. The dining room is equipped with a variety of audio equipment, which is one of the master's hobbies, so you can enjoy your meal while listening to very relaxing music. In fact, there is also a karaoke DAM, so you can have a big party after the meal, and of course it's free. There is also a refrigerator in the hallway on each floor. Free Wi-Fi is available and the speed is reasonable. Perfect service. The more I write, the more endless it becomes.

Right in front of the lower bath. 5 seconds walk. This inn is equipped with an indoor hot spring bath, while being right in front of the best communal bath. The indoor bath is also good. Thanks to the master's exquisite temperature control, you can enjoy the slightly hot hot spring water typical of Zao.The interior is very Showa-era, but it also has a mountain hut-like atmosphere. There are nostalgic melodies and jazz music playing in the lobby, which I think people of all ages will find irresistible. There is also a display of ski equipment in the windbreak room, with fine boards lined up.

I stayed there during Golden Week. The inn is bigger than you would expect from the entrance, the prices are cheap, and the hot springs are extremely fresh and just the right amount of hot.The hostess is also friendly and the inn is warm.Although the inn has a historical feel, it is kept clean, the ski slopes can be seen from the windows, and we had a comfortable stay. The hot water in front of us was extremely fresh and the best.I will drop by again.

They were very kind to me. The rooms are quaint and the hot springs are great. The location is good, close to the bus terminal, and there is a public bath directly across the street. I will definitely order again when I go to Zao.

The ryokan is run by an elderly couple who were very nice and always around. The ryokan itself has aged but still felt very hospitable and the room was nice. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. It’s served between 7:30 and 8:30 for which I received a wake-up call around 7:30. The halls are a bit cold and the water faucets seemingly didn’t give hot water but it was okay. The owner provided me with free tickets for the public bath and a discount ticket for the ski rental place.
